Obama, Made to Dictate

Barak Hussein Obama's work, for this task, started years before he came to the Presidency. He was born, maybe as American or maybe not, to free-thinkers in the 1960's. It was a time of heated protest against an unpopular war and the great civil rights struggles that moved American culture to a socially more just society. It was a time of free love and psychedelic drugs and great upheaval. It was a time that changed America from a wholesome, apple pie society to the bong, thong and song cultural drift it now experiences. Barack Obama was a born dictator.

His mother, S. Ann Dunham Sorento, was a Kansas born girl, uprooted frequently by her restless Father who came to live in Hawaii. She hungered for romance and excitement in her life. She was rebellious of the vestments of that time and she did the unthinkable, she married out of her race. This was no small affront to a society who was dealing with the new paradigm of a more tolerant attitude toward social issues. She married the most controversial figure she could find, a married, foreign, muslin man who was black. Someone that could express her disdain of proper society. She seems to have passed this gene onto her son.

He had a childhood that could best be described as Bohemian. Uprooted from the very beginning by the abandonment of his father and the restlessness of his mother he had an unconventional childhood. His Mother seemed to gravitate toward Muslim men. Her second husband, another Muslim, moved his new family from Hawaii to Indonesia. A young Obama attended both secular and Muslim schools there until his mother once again uprooted her children, Barak and half-sister, Maya, and moved them back to Hawaii. To get a better understanding of Obama you need only take a look at his mother's life. This from a 2008 Times magazine article:

"She cried a lot," says her daughter Maya Soetoro-Ng, "if she saw animals being treated cruelly or children in the news or a sad movie—or if she felt like she wasn't being understood in a conversation." And yet she was fearless, says Soetoro-Ng. "She was very capable. She went out on the back of a motorcycle and did rigorous fieldwork. Her research was responsible and penetrating. She saw the heart of a problem, and she knew whom to hold accountable."

It describes Obama perfectly, and explains some of his recent choices. Empathy and accountability. His choice of Sonia Sotomayor for the Supreme Court is almost Oedipal. His mother's empathy and accountability are firmly implanted in this woman who appears to have similar personality traits as Obama;s mother and if you squint your eyes really hard, even looks a little like Obama's mother.

Some of the greatest influences in Obama's early life were Leftist and Marxist. His early friendships and activities were that of a young man with an identity crisis. One of his strongest influences as a young man in Hawaii was a Communist, a poet, and an admitted pedophile, Frank Marshall Davis. Barak's white Grandfather introduced his grandson to Davis, who was black, when he[Barak] was 10 years old. Barak grew to think of Davis as a Father figure and mentor.

In Chicago, Obama worked for Leftest Organizations and had Leftest friends. Bill Ayers a 1960's radical and Bernadine Dorn were friends and neighbors. Ayers and Obama worked and raised money for the same Foundation. Father Flager and Rev. Jeriahmia Wright, were personal heroes of Obama

Obviously, Barak Hussein Obama is a Muslim at heart. No other explanation could explain his body language and speech since his entry into public life. Before he was elected he shunned all things Muslim. He wouldn't use his middle name. He banned two Muslim women from the stage at a campaign event in Detroit because the were wearing hijabs, Muslim headscarves. He later denied it was his fault because his staff had assigned their seat to someone else.

He was paranoid about being linked to the Muslim world given most Americans skepticism since 911. He made a Freudian slip in an September 8, 2008 interview with George Stephanopolos of ABC. The video has now disappeared from YouTube replaced with this notice: This is from the transcript of that interview:

"MR. STEPHANOPOULOS: And John McCain said the same thing about questioning your faith.
SEN. OBAMA: And what was the first thing the McCain campaign went out and did? They said, look, these liberal blogs that support Obama are out there attacking Governor Palin. Let's not play games. What I was suggesting - you're absolutely right that John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith, and you're absolutely right that that has not come -

MR. STEPHANOPOULOS: Your Christian faith.

SEN. OBAMA: My Christian faith - well, what I'm saying is -
MR. STEPHANOPOULOS: Connections, right.

SEN. OBAMA: - that he hasn't suggested that I'm a Muslim, and I think that his campaign upper echelons haven't either. What I think is fair to say is that coming out of the Republican camp, there have been efforts to suggest that perhaps I'm not what who I say I am when it comes to my faith, something which I find deeply offensive, and that has been going on for a pretty long time."

He gave a speech in 2006 that mocked Christians and Jews by mocking the old and new testaments of the Bible. It was in that speech that he first uttered "America is no longer a Christian nation". This phrase is often taken out of context, because in it he mentions other religions that are part of America, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists. This may have been an acceptable comment except he has kept repeating it. He seems to, at every turn, ridicule Christianity and Judaism. In Turkey he again said "America is no longer a Christian nation". He was trying to make a connection between the two countries, Turkey and America, as secular nations.

Who can forget the bow to the Saudi King...

In Cario, Egypt Obama made his pilgrimage to his true belief and spoke these words:

“I have known Islam on three continents before coming to the region where it was first revealed. That experience guides my conviction that partnership between America and Islam must be based on what Islam is, not what it isn’t. And I consider it part of my responsibility as president of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear.”

On French television he nuanced his remarks about America and Muslims by saying:

"Now, the flip side is I think that the United States and the West generally, we have to educate ourselves more effectively on Islam. And one of the points I want to make is, is that if you actually took the number of Muslims Americans, we’d be one of the largest Muslim countries in the world. And so there’s got to be a better dialogue and a better understanding between the two peoples."

For all his sage understanding he clearly is revealing his soul. He is, no matter what his words say, a Muslim, an Islamist and possibly a jihadist in the way he is changing America.

When any organism is attacked from a foreign body it defends itself. Most of the President's true ideas are foreign to a great many Americans. He has talked like a Moderate and has preformed as something very different. Almost all of his "change" has been 180 degrees from where most Americans live. Obama loves to dictate what America should be; anything but American.

An Open Letter to City Officials Who Have Allowed OWS to Gain a Foothold in Their Communities…

Other Mayors hosting OWS:

What the hell are you thinking?
As this OWS(Occupy Wall Street) virus spreads, why are you allowing public and private property to be violated in the false notion of societal victimization and free speech? Are you so afraid that these little freaks constitutional “rights” are being violated at the expense of public safety and sanity, that you feel you have to kowtow to their demands? How long will your citizens allow you to babysit these childish thugs?

These people and groups want to so overwhelm your police, jails, courts and all city amenities, to the point of collapse. This is not free speech! This is not “the right of redress”; this is a Revolution and apparently you fail to foresee the dangers that lye ahead as these groups set up a “government” within your local governments and within the United States?

The OWS will not obey any law that sane people in a civil society have created for the greater good and protection of their city’s inhabitants. They are outlaws, beggars, misfits, and worse; criminals and mentally ill sociopaths who are preying on one and other, as well as your communities at large.

They are Community Organizers in the worst vein of the Arab Spring demonstrators. They are: Communist, Leftists, Fascists, Skinheads, Nazis, and every form of Left-wing Agitator who intend to help this Administration complete their final “transformation” of America! They are the enemy of everything they say they stand for in the grandiose outline of Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals”; and Cloward and Piven.

Money, clothing, tents and food are pouring into these groups’ encampments in your cities while your Mayors and other public officials are trying to “accommodate” these groups by allowing the Protestors to destroy public and private spaces, commit lewd acts and turn them into virtual cesspools.

It time for you to do your duty as elected city officials of all the people of your communities and not let these false egalitarians destroy your citizen’s rights to a safe and protected environment without the violence and unclean conditions that these demurrers are creating. Their agenda is blurred by noble sounding causes that are just props for their illegal notions under civil U.S. Code.

Obama: the Man in the Mirror...President or Something Else?

Metaphors are an apt tool to use when trying to define a complex subject. Barack Hussein Obama is as complex a subject as it gets in politics. He spent, or some suggest, misspent his youth avoiding defining himself. He hides his history with a vigor that a master criminal would envy. He hides his motives even deeper. Alas, this has never seemed more true than with his foreign policy adventures since becoming President. I wonder who he sees when he looks in the mirror? A President? A savior of minorities around the world? Or as a Dictator?

For the past weeks President Obama has made it crystal clear that he shouldn't be the Commander-in-Chief of the United States Armed Forces in a time of war. He has been as transparent as mud. He has not even shown the faintest hint of being a competent leader as he and his Administration have played the most confusing game of Brinkmanship with the Middle-East's democracy[sic] movements; approving one day and objecting the next.

He is driving both the far-left and far-right into furious fits of rebuke as his in-decisions and curious in-actions compound upon themselves. President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and have appeared on opposite sides of policy at times since the “pro-democracy” protests started to consume the Middle-East. We were either met with confusion, contradiction or downright silence.

The pro-democracy protests started in Tunisia in December of 2010 as a young student protester set himself on fire, purportedly in protest of Tunisia's ruling family's accumulation of wealth, while leaving the youth of Tunisia and its college graduates jobless. It became the Facebook and Twitter Revolution as pro-democracy students and activists posted the chronology of events on the internet for all to see. The fuse had been lit. On January 14th, 2011, after weeks of silence, Obama's issued his first official statement on the crisis:

“The United States stands with the entire international community in bearing witness to this brave and determined struggle for the universal rights that we must all uphold, and we will long remember the images of the Tunisian people seeking to make their voices heard. I urge all parties to maintain calm and avoid violence, and call on the Tunisian government to respect human rights, and to hold free and fair elections in the near future that reflect the true will and aspirations of the Tunisian people.”

By the 19th of January President Obama was assuring Egypt's Hosni Mubarak that he had his back. On February 1, it is reported by Arron Klein at WorldNetDaily.com that a high U.S. Embassy official was meeting with the Muslim Brotherhood to discuss Egypt's future after Mubarak “falls”. On February 1st, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was calling for an “orderly transition of power” to democracy.

That same day Mubarak announced he would not run for re-election in the fall, Obama issued a statement that the transition must start now. On February 10th, Mubarak raised the hopes of the demonstrators with a “big announcement”. Protesters and governments across the world thought this was his resignation announcement. He told the multitude of cheering students, activists and countlessness people caught up in the revolutionary reverie that he wouldn't leave until September. Fierce riots broke out and the next morning, on February 11th, Mubarak finally announced his resignation.

After maintaining an eerie silence on Libyan leader Muammar el-Qaddafi's assault on his own people in the aftermath of the Tunisian and Egyptian uprising, Obama finally made a statement on February 23rd about Libya but never mentions Qaddafi by name. On March 17th the UN Security Council issues its order for a no-fly zone between Libya's revolutionaries and Qaddafi's military forces. President Obama commits planes, ships and munitions to another middle-eastern "conflict" and says we'll be out of Libya soon or maybe not; it depends what time of the week it is.

Qaddafi prefaced a letter to President Obama on March 19, 2011, as reported by the Times of India:

"To our son, his excellency, Mr Barack Hussein Obama. I have said to you before, that even if Libya and the United Sates of America enter into a war, god forbid, you will always remain a son. Your picture will not be changed."

I suppose this means Obama will still be welcome among the Libyan elite if they survive this fiasco and there is every indication that both Obama and Qaddafi will survive.

The Obama Administration's collusion on the uprisings in the Middle-East are also reported to have begun as early as 2008. It was reported in the January 28th, 2011 issue of the London Telegraph that the U.S. Embassy in Cairo assisted a young dissident in attending a U.S.sponsored summit-for-activists in New York City in 2008. The same dissident was part of the Egyptian demonstrations in January, 2011.

During the Egyptian riots International Unions and many communist organizations participated in the riots. Disturbingly, planners included the U.S. State Department sponsored Alliance for Youth Movements. They worked together to stir up the demonstrators across the Middle-East. The AYA movement is a world wide cabal that involves pro-democracy movements across the world: Anti-FARC in South America, pro-democracy activists in China, activists in most middle-eastern countries including the April 6th Youth Movement. The State Department partnered with private sector companies such as: Facebook, Google, Pepsi, MTV, AT&T, Howcast, Access 360 Media and the Columbia University Law School among others to promote techniques that activist could use to protest their oppressors under the guise of helping youth organize. The current protests are not spontaneous demonstrations or movements.They have been planning these insurrections since 2008 and probably before.

What does Obama actually see in the mirror these days? Does he have the same malady that Alice in Wonderland Land had after she went through the looking glass; everything looked backwards? Is he just hiding his true identity; that of a soft dictator, the face behind a movement. This doesn't bode well for his leadership in the United States. How does he account for his lack of decidedness? He is the master of contradiction and unfortunately the executor of our fate..

Code Pink, Wikileaks, Julian Assange, Hiliary Clinton and Barack Obama

As I've read the headlines on Drudge this week I've had have to ponder how much of the turmoil the world finds itself in can be blamed on the U.S. through its blundering brand of so called foreign policy under the Obama Administration? Leftist politics have always made for a chaotic environment and they haven't missed any opportunity to exploit a crisis, whether foreign or domestic.

...and the beat goes on, Code Pink this week sent a flash message to its members to raise at least $5,000 to help support the pro-democracy demonstrators in Egypt. What was the money supporting? Bottled water or food for the demonstrators? No,something far more pertinent to Medea Benjamin, co-founder of the anti-war group, Code Pink. It was for flowers. Yes, I said flowers.

In an attempt for the self-hating Jewish American Princess, (Susie) Medea Benjamin to recreate the iconic Bernie Boston 1960's war protest photo of demonstrator's placing flowers in the barrel of a gun, the appeal went out. Funny thing is the weapon of choice for the demonstrators in Egypt and Tunisia has been rocks, stones and Molotov Cocktails.

The appeal for funds is from the same organization that last weekend called for the lynching of Supreme Court Justice Thomas and his wife and sending Justice Samuel Alito back to Italy at an anti-capitalist rally against the Wichita, KS based company Koch Industries Inc. Koch's biggest transgression i.e: donating money to anyone other than Barack Obama. The rally also featured “blue ribbon” panelist Van Jones who continued his lunatic progressive spewing of “hate the right” rhetoric.

Wikileaks has irrupted with its own insolent brand of promoting world peace by releasing ever more damaging documents on purported U.S. misdeeds. This week's trope was that the Obama Administration has agreed to release to the Russians closely held secrets on Great Britain's nuclear deterrents. The Obama obsession of damaging the English Empire rings of the same hateful thread of revenge against his ancestor's alleged tormentors as did his first acts of attempting to embarrass the British Empire i.e: returning the Churchill bust from the Oval Office and touching the Queen at their first meeting. Only this is a more serious assault on British security.

Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton's State Department were caught off guard by the events of the past weeks in Egypt. They may go down in history as the two individuals who so severely damaged U.S prestige and influence throughout the Middle-east, Africa and Europe that it could take decades to repair, if its possible at all. Admitting errors is one thing but issuing a flood of contradictory statements about the U.S. position on the problems in Egypt and throughout the middle-east has seemed more than a little bi-polar.

The Administartion's views have ranged from Mubarak must leave immediately to urging caution and allowing Mubarak to stay until the September elections and everything in between. They have supported virtually all sides on this issue, including the Muslim Brotherhood who have been described by the administration both as saviors and terrorist. One has to ask if this is a deliberate decision by the Obama Administration to ally with the Muslim Brotherhood without appearing to.

Obama's modus operandi has always been to win by destroying his enemies whether in politics or foreign policy. Its a good bet that Obama considers Israel “the problem” in the middle-east situation just as he thought of Great Britain as the enemy of Kenya when he was growing up. He heard the tale of his Grandfather being tortured by the Brits in the first Mau Mau Uprising in 1949 Africa and it stuck in his apocryphal memory and formed the biased policies he seems to be carrying out today.

Code Pink, Wikileaks, Julian Assange, Hiliary Clinton and Barack Obama all seem to be working from the same script. Destroy the United State's credibility and the State of Israel at any cost. See to it that the Palestinians and middle-eastern despots are placated, elevated and rewarded.

In an ever more dangerous world Israel is being surrounded by enemies, old and new. This threatens to destabilize more than just the middle-east. It only took the murder of one Austrian archduke to start the first World War. If the dark forces unleashed in Tunisia and Egypt are allowed to fester and Israel is attacked it could be the start of something no one wants to think about. We need to pray that cooler heads will prevail in these matters and that somewhere in the world we can find one, true, statesman; if they even still exist.

Left-wing Bias and the Facts

This last weekends news has been an eyeopener for many Americans. Left-wing bias and lunacy has gone viral on mainstream television and the internet. Many Americans that had been reluctant to embrace the Tea Party movement are now seeing first hand how rabid and flawed left-wing bias is.

The shooting of a sitting U.S. Congresswoman and the murder of a federal judge as well as the other victims, both dead and alive, have brought to the surface the Left's most sought after restrictions to personal freedoms in modern times, gun control, talk radio control, internet control and the destruction of Fox News, Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck.

Their arguments have met a lot of resistance from the right-wing and even mainstream Americans as the left has spewed its malevolent, hate-filled rhetoric. The nations airwaves are filled with blame for everyone on the right side of any issue but not the person who is allegedly responsible for this heinous act. The Left has been short on facts and long on talking-points. Here are just a few commonsense facts that the left-wing loons may have overlooked in their rush to judgment and desire to denigrate every ring-wing thought and smear every right-wing personality and politician in the process.

The United States of America is the most heavily citizen armed society in the world; and it is the freest. The countries that are the most authoritarian are places where their citizens have no rights, no guns and no freedoms as Americans know through their Bill-of-Rights. If the guns owned by Americans were distributed evenly inside our borders, nine out of every 10 Americans would own a legal weapon.

It took only one legally owned, semi-automatic weapon in the hands of one mentally disturbed man to extinguish 6 lives and change the lives of 13 more, forever. There are laws on the books in Arizona that should have prevented this man from purchasing the gun and ammunition in the first place as he was already know to law enforcement, yet he was never placed on any restricted list for the purchase of a weapon or ammunition.

How can guns be the problem in the face of that kind of evidence?

There are more than 2000 talk radio stations carrying some form of talk, 24 hours a day, in America. Free speech and talk radio are the cornerstone of freedom in our Republic in the 21st Century. The free exchange of ideas, political, sports or the wider communities of though are broadcast 24/7 all across the nation without incidents of mass murder because of the subjects being discussed on these programs.

There is NO evidence that the shooter ever listened to any form of talk radio. He was a “metal-head” and listened to demonic, heavy metal music from what the video evidence of him as the grim reaper, burning the American flag, with a heavy-metal soundtrack seemed to suggest.

So how can talk radio or the hosts on these shows be the cause of this man's insane act?

Fox News is the highest rated cable news network on television, pulling more viewers than all other cable news shows combined on most nights. They, unlike their competitors, consistently provide many points-of-view on all sides of whatever issue they are discussing and they don't feature as a headline personal attacks on the host of their competitor's shows. They have to do a lot of defense from the slings and arrows being thrown by the hosts of their cable networks competition such as CNBC, MSN, MSNBC, CNN and Headline News. And again, NO evidence that this self-described Anarchist and accused murderer ever watched television, let alone Fox News.

With so many words spoken across the airwaves in the 24 hour news cycle, how can Fox News be the problem?

As for the individuals the left-wing media apparatus is smearing, none is more hated by their ilk than Sarah Palin. The very fact that she is a woman who has carved out a place in the public arena while still being a wife, an unapologetic mother, an executive and politician gives the liberals fits. She doesn't fit their template of the successful woman.

Sarah is Pro-Life, Pro-Gun, Pro-God and she actually shoots and processes her own fish and game in a state where there are few grocery stores and people really do eat what they kill. She is a person so alien to the left's lifestyle that they can't fathom her presence on the planet let alone imagine her as President. In their view she must be destroyed, lied about, and by whatever means necessary, be prevented from ever being elected to the highest office in the land.

As for Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck and their megaphone of TV and talk radio are an ever present danger to the Left. The Left has been trying for decades to get control of the airwaves through the fairness doctrine or any device which would silence their most hated critics.

How can Sarah, Rush or Glenn be the problem? They aren't.

There is so much blame being bandied about by the Left, it is mind boggling. They can't see the flaws in their machinations let alone be reasonable and use commonsense. I could list all the false statements by the Left's talking heads but it would take far longer than I wish to devote to this article. The Left's own President, Obama, has been guilty of some of the very speech the Left is complaining about. He is now trying to portray a himself as a more sensitive, thoughtful leader; doing and saying all the right things.

This I fear is a deception . A leopard can't so easily change its spots. In the next weeks and months I see him as the manipulator-in-chief who will begin to inflict serious damage on the U.S. Constitution. I hope I'm wrong but this President's history betrays his move to the middle. He is, after all, a committed leftist, a community activist and still trying to bring about the radical transformation of America. I pray that Americans are not fooled by his pretense. But the President is not responsible for this attack on the Congresswoman and the rest of the victims.

The person who pulled the trigger on that legally purchased weapon is ultimately responsible.

Don't let this demented man's insane act be used as an excuse to let this Administration take our freedoms away. Stand up for what you know is right, not right-wing, just right.

Muslim Mosque Developer Calls Attention to his Diverse Heritage...

In a move that is likely do more to fuel the debate on the Ground Zero "Mosque" than to garner support for it, Sharif El-Gamal sat down with CBS's 60 Minutes to explain his heritage. He says he is a New Yorker, an American born in Brooklyn, at Methodist Hospital, to a Polish-Catholic mother and an Egyptian father and he's married to a Christian girl. Let's see, now we've got all the bases covered, he's an American because he was born on American soil but were his parents legal immigrants? He has a Catholic heritage as well as Muslim but he says he is Muslim.

El-Gamal says he wants to bring all cultures together at that spot because he "does not hold himself or his faith" accountable for the 911 attacks. Other Americans may not be so "tolerant" of that point-of-view. It seems that CBS bent over backwards to try and make this man appear mainstream by explaining to the "rubes" here in middle America that its not that easy to pick up a plot of land in Manhattan because NYC has such a vibrant Real Estate Market. Nothing to see here...move along...

The question still persists as to where Mr. El-Gamal gets his financing. He must be the luckiest rags to riches story in America. Five years ago he was a lowly waiter in a Manhattan restaurant and today he is a multi-millionaire Real Estate Developer who can't seem to pay off his smaller debts but can spend 4.5 million dollars in cash for the Burlington Coat Factory Building. Boy those tips must have been fantastic...

Last years tax return for the Cordoba Project listed its net assets at $18,000. So where did a waiter who purchased one of the first buildings for the project get his money?

According to Melvin Pomerantz, whose family originally owned the property at 45-47 Park Place, a partner in SoHo Properties, Sharrif El-Gamal, raised $4.8 million in cash to purchase the property from the Pomerantz family. El-Gamal first made the proposal in 2006 and raised the money over the next two years. El-Gamal also paid an extra $700,000 in cash to take over a lease from Con Ed for the building next door at 49-51 Park Place. That lease expires in 2071. It costs SoHo Properties $33,000 dollars a year to maintain the lease. The Cordoba Initiative is listed as one of the investors but the source of its funding remains a mystery.

As recently as 2003 Sharrif El-Gamal and his brother Sammy El-Gamal, were both waiters in New York City's Serafina’s Restaurant and Tao Restaurant respectively. That same year the brothers formed SoHo Properties primarily to lease apartments on a commission basis. They weren't selling real estate but they must have been very successful at leasing real estate because by 2007 they were purchasing Real Estate properties worth millions with cash. Not bad for commissioned leasing agents.

In 2007, Sharrif El-Gamal and his wife purchased an apartment on the upper west side of New York City for $1,000,000. In 2009 SoHo Properties bought a 12 story office building on the upper west side for more than $45 million dollars. This company is now spending millions in cash but is being investigated by the state of New York's Licensing Dept. for failure to maintain an escrow account for lease deposits and failure to return deposits to leasing customers.

Sharrif El-Gamal and Sammy El-Gamal may be related to a big supporter of President Barak Obama's election, Dr. Mohamed Z. El-Gamal, CEO of ATI Wave (Applied Technologies). “Moe” El-Gamal is a businessman who was just charged and arrested by the Justice Dept. last May on charges of shipping computers and technology to Lybia. Could he be the mysterious source of funds for SoHo Properties?

The funding for the Ground Zero mosque is murky. Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, the person fronting the mosque is a a director with The Perdana Organization based in Malaysia who donated more than $366,000 dollars along with $500,000 from Qutar to fund the future "Audacity of Hope" Flotilla, the followup to the "Freedom Flotilla" where Israeli soldiers were murdered and 10-19 (actual number disputed) flotilla participants lost their lives.

Questions must be answered about the source of funding for the Community Center, Mosque or whatever they are trying to build. All I know is, if Cordoba House is allowed to be built, then five times a day Americans would have thousands of Islamic men, facing toward Mecca, on their knees, with their butts in the face of America's 9/11 Graveyard. This is hallowed ground and should be treated with dignity and reverence.

There should be NO Mosque anywhere near the Ground Zero site or any other site that was attacked on that day. The design of the Pennsylvania Flight 93 Memorial should not be crescent shaped. I only hope that the room in the Pentagon used for Muslim prayer will be removed. I don't care how long its been there. If we truly have separation of the church from government then remove it. "Separate but equal" died with the 1964 Civil Rights Bill. If Muslims are allowed accommodation on these issues, how long before we have Sharia?

No "Fitna" at Ground Zero...

There is much fitna being done at Ground Zero. Fitna is a word that in Islamic circles means "mischief-making". This is a practice that the Koran seems to forbid but fitna exists at Ground Zero nonetheless.

In the Koran Muslims are told to "Be considerate when you debate with the People of the Book" meaning Gentiles and Jews. It looks like the nuances of the Koran are lost in this instance by the Progressive politicians and Islamic terror supporters in approving the mosque at Ground Zero.

Any sane person with even mildly developed sensitivity knows that to place this mosque within the view of Ground Zero is an affront to every American citizen who remembers and reveres the memories of those killed at the World Trade Center on 9/11. The visions of those attacks for most Americans are burned into our hearts and mind so to denigrate them in this manner is unconscionable.

Islam has a great affinity for cutthroat reminders of their perceived conquests over their enemies. For Muslim extremists anyone who denies the Koran is an infidel and worthy of destruction. Their goal is to conquer the world or destroy it. Muslims have had a long history of conquering cities and countries and erecting great mosques to to show the conquered masses their dominance over them.

The city of Andalusia, Spain was conquered in the tenth century by warring Muslims and renamed Cordoba. In near-mythical terms it was said to be the largest monument to Muslim "enlightenment" in the world. It boasted 700 mosques, 60,000 palaces and 70 libraries housing over 500,000 Arabic books. It was said to have had over 500,000 residents and was touted as the first city in Europe to have street lights. It replaced a Christian city that had stood for 500 years

Now Imam Feisel Abdul Rauf wants to name his 13 story Islamic center, Cordoba House. Why should Americans believe that his intentions are pure and an outreach to us? They shouldn't. History proves that Islam loves revenge and domination. One of the tenets of Islam is to show superiority over an enemy and to use mosques to flout its victories. Area residents did not even notice the mosque until 2006, when the New York State Liquor Authority (SLA) refused to license a new bar on the same block and started yanking others’ liquor licenses

Looks like Greg Gutfield may have some problems getting a liquor license for the "gay Muslim bar" he wants to build in the Ground Zero neighborhood to protest the Ground Zero Mosque. We sure don't want to offend the "religion of peace". According to Reihan Salam of NRO's blog: "Ground Zero is a construction site." Nothing sacred here...move along.

The real fitna here may be to get the state of New York to help pay for some of the construction. It seems it is already being considered by Governor Patterson who in order to distance himself from President Obama's fluid support of the mosque has offered Imam Rauf a contribution from state funds if the Imam will move the project away from Ground Zero. Fitna indeed...

Missouri Territory formerly Louisiana

When debating the entrance of the state of Maine and Missouri to the Union in 1820, The House of Representatives hit upon a solution that would indirectly be one of the the catalysts for the Civil War. Congress called it "the Missouri Compromise of 1820". It was an amendment that divided the country at the 36° 30' parallel between the pro-slavery (below the line), and anti-slavery (above the line) forces.

Missouri was to be admitted to the Union without slavery in their constitution but a Senate bill was passed and in the compromise, Missouri was admitted to the Union with slavery, hence the designation of the Missouri Compromise. The the 36° 30' was still considered the line of demarcation between the North and the South. It created an uneasy peace that lasted until the passage in 1854 of the Kansas-Nebraska Act.

Kansas and Nebraska settlers would be allowed to decide if their territories would be free or be able to keep slaves. Both pro and anti-slavery forces rushed to settle in the new territories which led to bloodshed between the opposing forces. Kansas for a time had two state Legislatures, one pro-slavery and one anti slavery. President Franklin Pierce, sent in Federal troops to stop the violence and support anti-slavery settlers and to dissolve the pro-slavery legislature.

John Brown, Abolitionist

Another election was held and again pro-slavery supporters won. They were charged with election fraud. It took John Brown and his anti-slavery raiders to push out pro-slavery settlers which led to the Kansas territory being deemed "bleeding Kansas". John Brown, considered a hero by many but was executed for Treason and insurrection on December 2, 1859. The anti-slavery settlers finally out numbered the pro-slavery settlers and on January 29, 1861, Kansas was admitted to the Union as a free state, eight weeks after the start of the Civil War.

So how was the Republican party formed? Northern leaders S. P. Chase, Charles Sumner, J. R. Giddiugs, Edward Wade, Gerritt Smith and Alexander De Witt in January 1854, released the "Appeal of Independent Democrats" a warning of imminent danger to the Union from pro-slavery forces. The Appeal was originally published in the Cincinnati Gazette and widely reprinted by other newspapers throughout the country.

It sparked spontaneous demonstrations across the Northern Territories and States. In 1854, the first Republican Party meeting took place in Ripon, Wisconsin. The message spread like wildfire! On June 6, 1854 more than 10,000 people turned out for a mass meeting known as "Under the Oaks" in Morgan's Forty, an oak grove, near Jackson, Michigan that is considered the birthplace of the Republican Party. The first organizing convention held on February 22, 1856 in Pittsburgh. The Republican Party held its first nominating convention on June 17, 1856, which announced the official formation, the birth, of the Republican Party.

It wasn't until 1954 that KANSAS participated in the case Brown vs the Board of Education that the "Separate but Equal" law was struck down and the notion of a colorblind society was made legal.

I fear for the damage being done to this country with the passage of the new financial legislation dubbed the Wall Street Accountability Act will change the very fabric of our nation's financial sector. President Obama will sign it into law next week. It is giving power to the wrong people. The winners are Unions, environmental groups, financial regulators, the Treasury, the FED, the FDIC, bigger Government and the losers are the American People.

A teary-eyed Sen. Christopher J. Dodd (D-Conn.) at the final passage of the bill was having a Nancy Peiosi moment when he uttered these, soon to be infamous, words “No one will know until this is actually in place how it works. But we believe we’ve done something that has been needed for a long time. It took a crisis to bring us to the point where we could actually get this job done.”

OMG are these people insane or just criminals!

Among the little presents the Federal Government [sic the Administration] has given itself is the ability to seize ANY bank or financial institution it deems as risky. The President promised this legislation would end the too-big-too-fail mentality in the Financial Markets but this bill virtually guarantees future bailouts of Wall Street banks according to Senator Mitch McConnell.

This puts too much power in the hands of yet another, as yet to be created, government agency. It gives Unions and Environmental groups the “right” to place its hand chosen members on the Board of Directors of ANY company to influence and set policy for the private sector. Isn't that a conflict of interest?

Do you see the pattern here? As with TARP, the Stimulus and Health Care, where we have seen nasty little surprises daily since their passage. We can now count on massive new regulation in our future. There will be more than 500 Agencies writing new rules for a myriad of grasping new laws that have been written into this monstrosity. And we have the same people who gave us Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae to thank for this debacle. Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, and Harry Reid to name a few of the culprits.

Does that fact alone scare anyone by me?

There are Republican villains here too. Scott Brown, who has shown the American people that he is [emphasis added] a Democrat at heart, and the two usual suspects, Olympia Snowe, and Susan Collins gave Obama a veto proof bill. All three are northeastern style Republicans who always seem to side with the Democrats on the issues of increased regulation and further control of individual American's freedoms.

Believe me, it will take years to just scratch the surface of the new law and the new regulations, most of which haven't been written yet. We are only now witnessing some of the tricks and manipulations the Health Care bill is giving birth to.

Insurance Companies will have to provide preventive services to the public, free of charge. This will make companies make changes in their current consumer policies that could trigger the “grim reaper” clause for Consumer Insurance Policies that propels people into the Government run, single payer, health care system. It will also conceivably bankrupt insurance companies which will tighten the Federal Government's death grip on our economy.

Another nasty little secret from the Health Care bill is that our new Health Care Czar is rumored to be proposing a new tax. What the hell do taxes have to do with health care? It will be the BMI tax which already exists in one form in Alabama. For every point above “normal” a person's Body Mass Index is, he or she will be taxed more for health care. This would mean be I would be among the “heaviest” taxed individuals in the country. Boy do I hope this is just a rumor.

The so called “proxy access” provision in the new financial bill eliminates the use of financial derivatives by struggling companies to hedge against the onslaught of the downturn in the economy. “Derivatives” has become a dirty word in this Administration. Anything that helps companies large and small survive these troubled financial waters is under attack by this legislation.

The new financial realities are bleak. Every time a Democrat gets a hold of some new tool to control American's lives you know its going to cost you and I more of our dwindling incomes. It will extract more taxes from financial institutions and insurance companies which mean everything we use, consume or buy will cost more.

How much more control of our lives are you willing to give to this cannibalistic, all consuming Democratic Party and this Administration? Its time Americans took a stand to protect and preserve our Republic if its not already too late. If the Republican's take the House back then you can rest assured the the days between November 2nd and January 20 will be among the most dangerous in regulatory history for this country. A Lame Duck Congress is the most dangerous animal known to mankind. November is coming. Will it come too late?

How Many Dots Do You Have to Connect to Prove Barak Obama is a Communist?

My usual morning read, turned into a chilling realization. Why haven't all of the American People figured out what Barak Obama is? I was drowsy when I sat down at my computer to peruse my morning e-mails and one from Patriotic Resistance caught my eye: "A United States Senators Response to a members letter about the NY Mosque....Outrageous!". The article was shocking enough. How could an American Senator be so outrageous and misleading? Then I saw it was Barbara Mikulski, a far left, Progressive politician who has said a lot of outrageous things in her career. But the interesting part wasn't in the article. It was in the comments section of the article.

I always read the comments section of any article I'm interested in to see what other "real people" think about the subject. The very first comment on the page wasn't really about the article and it had a link to commieblaster.com. It was about Barak Obama's connection to the Communist Party in the United States and around the world. I clicked on the link and suddenly it felt like a bucket of ice water hit me in the face. I wasn't drowsy anymore. The number of links on that page lit up in red were like a flashing warning sign. Danger lurks her. If I clicked on anyone of the links it was like a Communist manifesto unfolding before me.

I wondered how long, can we as Americans, with so much information at our finger tips be so blind as not to see what is happening right under our nose. We have Libraries, books, television, the internet, newspapers, headlines on our smart phones and still people avoid anything negative about this President. We are witnessing the Communist takeover of America with the election of our current Socialist Progressive President, who is possibly a Communist.

The movement that spawned Barak Obama has been planning this coup for decades and it looks like they might be successful if we don't do everything in our power to defeat these people. We must, dare I say it, "purge" every vestige of these policies from our politics, our media and our school systems. I fear it is already too late. The seeds of communism are deeply sewn in our public schools and especially higher education. Foundations like the Annenberg Foundation, on which both Barak Obama and Bill Ayers sat on the Board of Directors together for seven years, have promoted leftist curriculum in public education.

Can anyone suggest that our mainstream media hasn't been taken over by Socialist pandering idiots like Chris Matthews and Keith Oberman to name two? I was thinking about all the subtle little hints and backtracking that Obama has done in the past few years. Who is this man? He certainly isn't the person all the fools that voted for him thought he was.

Another link took me to a CNN story from the before the election on the Obama/Bill Ayers connection. Shocking that CNN could be so objective but it was two years ago.

Another link led me to the New Party and Barak Obama which had strong evidence that Obama actually joined the very far left New Party. This is from the New Party News Spring 1996 page 1 commenting on the election of Danny Davis:

" New Party members won three other primaries this Spring in Chicago: Barack Obama (State Senate), Michael Chandler (Democratic Party Committee) and Patricia Martin (Cook County Judiciary)..."'these victories prove that small 'd' democracy can work' said Obama".

I clicked on another link and it took me to a radio interview with someone named Tom Fife, an American Physicist, claiming to have heard about Barak in a gathering of business friends in Moscow in 1992. Now I know you can hear or see anything on the web. I always view most everything I read or hear or see on the Internet with a seed of skepticism. Not everyone does. I listened to the interview any way. I don't know if I believe everything Mr. Fife says but it was fascinating interview and if true its scary.

The links on that one page would take days to read through. Maybe weeks if you read the links connected to those pages linked to commieblaster. I'm still clicking those links and I still have that chill. The last one I checked out was posted today and had to do with the Black Panther video that's been circulated this week. It has Barak Obama's own words set to this video calling for violence against whites.

If you heard Rush Limbaugh's show yesterday, you heard about the Green Shirt Brigade in Cleveland that will be delivering two, Government approved, compact fluorescent light bulbs to utility customers of First Energy. The bulbs are the same Chinese made light bulbs that you can buy at your local Hardware Store for less than the $3.50 each that the Utility Company is paying for them. This is a direct result of the Ohio Legislature's passage of a law that compels the Utility Companies to reduce their customers energy usage by 22%. Can you say Eco-Nut, Cap and Tax?

First Energy Customers can't choose not to receive the light bulbs. They will be placed on every customer's door in a bag with a brochure, More than 100 Ways to Improve Your Electric Bill. They will appear to be free. What the brochure doesn't tell you is that the customer will have a 60 cent per month "payment" added to their electric bill for the next two years. That's $21.60 for two $3.50 light bulbs.

Gotta pay for those newly created jobs; the Green Shirts. Isn't Government wonderful? It's creating jobs, reducing energy cost and creating revenue streams for Business Partners all while tightening it's control of the little people.

But it doesn't end there because the customer will be saving energy by using the light bulbs and the Utility will be loosing revenue because of their customer's eco-responsibility, each customer will be assessed a "small" fee to offset the Utility's losses. Ah yes, our Government at work to screw the People and help the Utility get away with legal thievery so they don't loose revenue.

This is all about government intrusion into American lives and governmental protection of the Big Money Utility Companies by grating them the ability to issue fees to offset losses due to conservation. This is Statism, the unholy blending of Fascism + Government and Big Business! The Government gets more power, the Utility get more revenue. The People get less freedom and who pays? I love the fear I see in "Leftist Radical" writers like Paul Harris. It seems they will NEVER understand American women or Americans in general. On the Cusp of the release of Sarah Palin's "Going Rogue" book comes this piece in the UK Guardian's Observer yesterday attacking Republican Representative Michele Bachmann as being a Firebrand as well as besmirching all Conservate Republican Women who dare to speak out againt the onslaught of Socialism in America.

The term a "Fool for Christ" is used as a pejorative being used to slam Bachman as if that description of her is something to be ashamed of. It is true that not everyone in America is a believer in Christ but fully 75% of Americans "self-identify as Christians according to the American Religious Identification Survey (ARIS) done in 2001. Atheism is on the rise too but more than 1/5th of Atheists in the survey said they believed in God. What an Oxymoron.

Religion, like everything else, is polarizing, with the faithful more willing to call themselves "born again" and doubters more willing to call themselves unbelievers or atheists. George W. Bush may have been a factor: Many of the unbelievers are less worried about religion per se as about the fusion of religion and political power in the form of the new right. A fifth of the "atheists" in a recent Pew Survey said that they believed in God, a semantic confusion rich in meaning. (WSJ)

Women in the Conservative Movement, i.e.Bachmann, Palin, Michelle Malkin and Ann Coulter are labled as Radical. In what world do Liberals live. These are women concerned with the actual things that are happening to our Country. The rush to Statism (the blending of Big Money and Big Government) and Socialism is real and extremely dangerous to our way of life.

All these women express a mood of conservative discontent that is becoming increasingly vocal and, some experts warn, extreme according to the Observer Article.

The politics espoused by Bachmann, Palin and others on the far right of the conservative movement warn darkly of Obama's intentions. They paint a picture of an America that is under threat from its own president. Bachmann has spoken of the possibility of the White House setting up "re-education camps" for America's youth. Palin once accused Obama of "palling around" with terrorists.

Since when has warning your Countrymen and Women about real dangers to our Republic been radical? According to the British, Paul Revere was a radical. We sit on the other side of the pond. Revere is a hero of our Revolution to free ourselves from a tyrannical British King. Now we must fight to save the Republic once more. But we are fighting with words and ideas. It scares the left silly that even Independents and Conservative Democrats are responding to these ideas.

Capitalism is not a dirty word. It is the Engine that keeps America running when allowed to do so. Freedom of the individual is paramount to our way of life. There are so many things threatening our individual Freedoms right now that most people can't keep up. One Day's news can be daunting to one person so we are forming groups to disseminate and understand the issues. Why is this threatening to the Left. They've been doing it for years.

We've been called Domestic Terrorist, Tea "Baggers" (a disgusting term for a Gay sex act), Unamerican, and they say we are indulging in "civic vigilantism". We've been called thugs, and the Angry Mob, the Brooks Brothers Brigade, Nazi's by the Speaker of the House (America's House which belongs to ALL American Citizens), and we are accused of being paid. First it was Big Business paying us and now it's the evil Insurance Companies. WELL, WHERE"S MY CHECK!

Meanwhile groups like ACORN and Code Pink are being funded to the tune of Billions of American taxpayer monies and generous Left Wing Philanthropists like George Soros. Bank sit-ins, invasion of the AIG Executive's homes by ACORN. Lewd, crude behavior by Code Pink in front of U.S. Marine Recruiting Offices and the actual banning of Recruiters in Berkley, CA.

They are the pillars of civility.

These People keep telling us our numbers are shrinking. The Tea Party Movement is Dying. We know they are wearing blinders, hoping against hope that it's true. Alas, they are wrong. The Tea Parties and Protests may indeed have fewer attendees but we as Tea Party Patriots know this just isn't so. I, myself, took my Tea Party activism and turned it into this Blog, a Tea Party Patriot, a Campaign Manager for Dan Gilyeat, a U.S. Congressional candidate for the Republican Party in Kansas District 3. We will defeat Dennis Moore next year!

Our Campaign is drawing Conservatives, Independents, Democrats, Black, White and Hispanics. We recently went to the Republican Sunflower Club meeting where they were expecting 40 or so people at a local restaurant. They had over 90 people who came to hear Secretary of State Candidate Kris Kobach and State Senator Mary Philcher Cook speak about the Constitution and State Sovereignty.

The women in the Conservative Movement aren't disappearing. Neither are the men. We are working hard to change the Republican Party. We are going to drag it back to it's roots, kicking and screaming if necessary. The Conservative Movement is growing and we will take no prisoners. We'll invite Conservatives of all Political Parties to join us for the goal of keeping our Country Free.

The left can say whatever it wants to about this movement. They do so because they thought they had it in the "bag". They thought they had defeated Reagan. How odd it was to hear them compare themselves to such a man as Obama has done...

It seem like Steve Rose, who was in the 3rd District U.S. House race for a nanosecond, is still trying to be a player in the election. His paper, in an October 8th article by Chuck Kurtz, mentions only Patricia Lightner as a candidate for the 3rd District seat currently held by Dennis Moore. Seems that Chuck forgot [sic] to mention the 3 other viable candidates who happen to be men. Nice fact checking Steve.

The article left out SSgt. Daniel Gilyeat, John Rysavy and Thomas Scherer who are all announced candidates. It seems because Lightner is the only candidate advertising, then according to the Sun Newspapers, she is the only candidate. The article also mentions possible candidates former State Sen. Nick Jordan, who lost to Moore in 2008; State Rep. Pat Colloton, R-Leawood; and State Rep. Kevin Yoder, R-Overland Park none of whom say they are even considering a run at this time.

Dan Gilyeat made his own headlines this week on Resisnet.com and American Liberty Republic's blog when a Kansas City, KS, Hispanic Leader, as yet unnamed, told a reporter that he had a conversation which he recorded with Congressman Dennis Moore in which Moore reportedly said "he had $7 million dollars for his campaign" and that "he could not believe that a naturalized citizen could support 'White Trash' over him [Moore.]"

Is Gilyeat a candidate that Moore is afraid of? Gilyeat certainly isn't white trash. He is a Father of seven and Husband. He is an Iraq War Veteran and a wounded Marine who lost a leg on his second tour of duty in Iraq. He is a respected member of his community who works tirelessly for Wounded Warrior Foundations, counsels wounded vets and their families about the difficulties and knowledge of returning to a normal productive life after catastrophic injuries.

John Rysavy is a respected Businessman, a former North Dakota Air National Gaurdsman, works tirelessly for his church and community. He is a Husband and the Father of six.

Thomas Scherer is a single father and community activist and has been involved in previous elections as a candidate.

A recent 3rd District Republican Newsletter lists all registered Candidates, Dan Gilyeat, Patricia Lihtner, John Rysavy and Thomas Scherer and has a biography of each one. I think it's about time someone called out Sun Publications for it's shoddy reporting. The voters of the 3rd District need to have all the information on candidates and issues at their disposal and not just Steve Roses' wishful thinking.

Sheriff Joe gets spanked...again!

Homeland Security Chief Janet Napolitano is telling Sheriff Joe Arpaio to stop arresting illegals. Could this be something left over from Ms. Napolitano's feud with the good sheriff when she was the Governor of Arizona?

The sheriff’s office is being investigated by the Department of Justice and other Federal agencies on accusations of racial profiling during the operation of Sheriff Joe's crime suppression operations which the Justice Department is calling racial profiling.

Sheriff Arpaio says "It's all Politics".

In one of his most famous dust-ups with the Government, Arpaio set up a tent city as an extension of the Maricopa County Jail. It was the Sheriff's solution for over-crowding without having to build a new jail. He saved taxpayers over $70m with that action. The prisoners complained about the inhumane conditions of excessive heat inside the tents to which Arpaio replied: "It's 120 degrees in Iraq and our soldiers are living in tents and they didn't commit any crimes!, so shut your mouths!"

In an often e-mailed piece from the Associated press Arpaio has racked up some pretty impressive statistics:

He has jail meals down to 40 cents a serving and charges the inmates for them.

He stopped smoking and porno magazines in the jails. Took away their weights. Cut off all but "G" movies.

He started chain gangs so the inmates could do free work on county and city projects.

Then he started chain gangs for women so he wouldn't get sued for discrimination.

He took away cable TV until he found out there was a federal court order that required cable TV for jails. So he hooked up the cable TV again only let in the Disney channel and the weather channel.

When asked why the weather channel he replied, so they will know how hot it's gonna be while they are working on my chain gangs.

He cut off coffee since it has zero nutritional value.

When the inmates complained, he told them, "This isn't the Ritz/Carlton. If you don't like it, don't come back."

He bought Newt Gingrich' lecture series on videotape that he pipes into the jails.

When asked by a reporter if he had any lecture series by a Democrat, he replied that a democratic lecture series might explain why a lot of the inmates were in his jails in the first place.

Makes one wonder why Secretary Napolitano doesn't like the good Sheriff's policies. Maybe [sic] she's playing for the other side of the Law. Homeland Security and the Obama Administration are set to strip Joe Arpaio of his main tool for dealing with illegal immigration. Rule 287g which allows for illegals to be detained for traffic violations. Tieing the hands of the good Sheriff seems to be the Democrats favorite sport in Arizona.

Hopefully, Sheriff Joe will find away around this restriction too. Obama and Henchwoman Napolitano are doing their best to tie the good Sheriff's hands. Seems they are more concerned for the illegals than they are for the American people.

I say we should support Sheriff Joe Arpaio and other's like him. This Country would definitely be a better place if this brand of justice was practiced more often. You go Joe!

By now, many of you have heard on Glenn Beck's radio show of this video that debuted on Breitbart TV this morning. These are people mixing traditional Bible theology with "Obama" worship. It is sick and it is dangerous, as this original video shows. Do we need an Institution to send these people to, to be deprogrammed....?

There is a definite under-culture in this country that is trying to define Obama as a Savior. While it is historic that Obama is the first person-of-color to hold the Oval Office, he is no God. A new book about to be released about the Obama's, Barack and Michelle: Portrait of an American Marriage, by Christopher Andersen, an Unauthorized Biographer, seems to hint that Obama may in deed be mortal.

The book claims that Barack and Michelle came close to splitting up. She apparently was bitter about her husband devoting too much time to his political ambitions and not enough to his family. She hated his chain-smoking and snoring, and he complained to friends that his wife was unreasonable.

It also supports a theroy by noted Author and Video Producer, Jack Cashill, that Bill Ayers is the true author of Dreams From My Father, Obama's poetic biography. A good review of Cashill's articles from last year should convince most truth seekers that Obama could not have produced that memoir.

How many people do you know who can write about the exact same experience, such as noticing the Hudson River flows both ways and explains to a bystander that it is because of the tides. Both Ayer's and Obama write about the same incident. Odd.

Anyway, the Gamelie Foundation, mentioned in this video is real. They are part of an international group that says they are "Training Obama"...

What Barack learned in his time organizing in Chicago, was to not let others define him but to define himself. This was the single most important lesson Barack learned as an organizer. It may be the most important lesson that any of us ever learn. It is the lesson which enabled him to be elected President. The power of Barack’s ability to define himself has been so great that in the process he has redefined America for Americans. And he has redefined America for the rest of the world.

Americans Need to Wake Up...NOW!

It seems that almost half of America is still asleep after the coup that took place last fall. The election of "the One" is now permeating even pre-schools and kindergartens. The indoctrination of our children has begun. I guess this makes me sound like a right-wing nutcase. So be it. But someone has to speak out and speak out loudly and boldly...

Our children are being taught to worship President Obama. This is not speculation. This is not conjecture. I don't believe this is an organized program but I could be wrong. The NEA Teachers Union doesn't promote this curriculum but some of it's members do. If this is just happening in one school then it is an easy fix...fire the Teacher. But we must be vigilant and make sure this kind of brain washing is not entering our local school system as I fear it has started to do..

You remember last fall before the election we had this group of young black men in an Academy School in Kansas City, Missouri...

These may be isolated incidents but the new lesson plans in most classrooms are already indoctrinating our children with radical ideas. They are taught that climate change is settled science. It isn't. They are being taught that homosexuality is a normal way of life. It isn't. Children having two Mommies or two Daddies is not normal and shouldn't be promoted in a public school. This is an agenda being pushed by the Far-Left.

In some states the Teachers Unions are promoting lesson plans for Home Schoolers and Day Care Workers to promote the far left agenda about the Gay lifestyle. They are threatening Private Religious Schools with lawsuits or loss of licenses if they don't teach "diversity".

Parents have a right to know what propaganda is being pushed at their children. These thoughts are not out of prejudice but out of concern for our children's futures. Parents are more and more being left out of the child rearing equation. Parents must become involved with their child's education.

Too many young people, who are undereducated themselves, never engage in their child's education out of fear of being discovered. They still need to be educated too. They leave teaching social skills to the Teachers and the Schools. They are giving up their child's heart, mind and soul to the school system. A System that has Agendas and teaches things that parents may not want their child to learn at a young age.

This propaganda started before Obama became President and it captured the youth of America just as it was designed to do. These methods have been known for decades. These are Saul Alinsky's and Karl Marx's ideas. Finally, if this doesn't scare you. If you don't believe that our young people are being brainwashed then listen to the songs teens and young people heard last year before the election.

If this doesn't scare your and enrage you and move you to action...then nothing I can say will. I pray that America will wake up soon...if I am still allowed to pray.

Has the term "the Left" become code for Black?

I don't like writing about racism. I will admit, it makes me self-conscious because I am a white women. But I've been on this earth long enough to know that the election of Barak Obama has been very bad for race relations. It has been bad on a number of fronts but I have to ask myself; "What percentage of Black Americans have embraced Obama's views that are Socialistic at best but are even closer to Communism?"

It would appear that the number is small but people with ideas that are Anti-American are reaching very high into our Federal Government and the Obama Administration. I know that the common, everyday, Black America still loves their Country and it's Constitution, right? I am becoming convinced I may be wrong...

School security officer Wesley Cheeks, Jr. is a man who optimizes the undercurrent that we are seeing evidenced in this his utterance about this not being America anymore: "It ain't no more, OK!" This is truly frightening. Free Speech is not legal on School property? This is unconstitutional on many levels but it has been tolerated in cases banning Religious Speech in Schools. The very mention of God in schools sends the Left into a tizzy so this shouldn't come as a surprise.

More and more Black Politicians are embracing Communism as evidenced by the Congressional Black Caucus's recent trip to Cuba. They came back praising Castro and the Cuban health care system. Anyone who has ever studied history, or is of an age who lived through the Cuban Missile Crisis, knows that Castro is an avowed enemy of the United States. Ask any Cuban refugee about the health care in Cuba and you will get a truer picture of what it means to be a third world Country.

And yet, this is what Black Legislators think about it. Listen to Rep. Maxine Waters....

I understand the pride that Black Americans feel when they see a man who is the same color as they are, reaching the highest office in the Land. But I though that Barak had a white Mother? That makes him only half-black. But that isn't the point.

It's not his color, his race, that offends me. It's his political leanings, some only suspected, some know, that won't allow me trust his motives. He is closer to the Communist ideology than I am comfortable with and proposals in Congress want to give him unprecedented power over every facet of American life. Spreading the wealth from people who produce wealth to give it to people who produce nothing but more children to use even more resources is his desire. If you have a society that depends on the Government for every need then you don't have freedom.

We are careening down a path to Fascism at an alarming. Big Business and Government are melding for the enrichment of an unknown entity who seem to be pulling the strings and are using racism as a defense against any criticism. Union Leaders and General Electrics' CEO sit on the board of the Federal Reserve. They don't want the books of the Fed opened. They American people have the right to know how the Fed is spending it's money.

Men and Women of African-American heritage are being given positions in board rooms and Government positions the will help write regulations that will affect every American. People with connection with the TIDES Foundation and Apollo Foundation are writing the legislation on Cap and Trade and Health Care. These two organizations are left leaning facilitators that are helping Obama remake America.

Because many of these recipient groups are quite radical, the donors often prefer not to have their names publicly linked with the donees. By letting the Tides Foundation, in effect, "launder" the money for them and pass it along to the intended beneficiaries, donors can avoid leaving a "paper trail." Such contributions are called "donor-advised," or donor-directed, funds.

Through this legal loophole, nonprofit entities can also create for-profit organizations and then funnel money to them through Tides -- thereby circumventing the laws that bar nonprofits from directly funding their own for-profit enterprises. Pew Charitable Trusts, for instance, set up three for-profit media companies and then proceeded to fund them via donor-advised contributions to Tides, which (for an 8 percent management fee) in turn sent the money to the media companies.

The Apollo Alliance is a radical environmental leftist organization.

A project of the Tides Center, the Apollo Alliance (AA) claims to have been "launched in the aftermath of the 9/11 tragedy to catalyze a clean energy revolution in America." AA says that in late 2007 it "spun off from its founding organizations, Campaign for America's Future and Center for Wisconsin Strategy, formed its own Board of Directors, and expanded its staff and program to better meet the critical challenge of promoting clean energy and good jobs."

The watchdog website UndueInfluence.com describes AA as a coalition composed of "[t]rue believers with an absolute belief that government is the solution to all social and economic problems, allied with labor unions, subsidy-seeking companies and global warming / weather control advocates."

These Foundations are involved in social justice programs which translate to putting People of Color into positions of power. There is nothing wrong with deserving people being promoted to Board of Directorships or Managers except when their sole purpose in life is to remake America into a Socialist or Communist country.

Van Jones, an avowed Communist is the Green Jobs Czar in Obama's White House. He was a co-founder of the Apollo Alliance. Documents with thousands of pages of legal jargon that our Congress People just don't have time to read and want to pass into law at the earliest possible date.

This is a new kind of Racism. Black Men and Women are getting ahead in the Obama Administration. The only question is will it cost America it's future as a Free Republic. Hope and Change were great themes from Obama's presidential campaign. They were also concurrent themes from Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals". The Obama Hope and Change that the "people who look like him" thought would free them from their misery are in for a big shock. They will probably think that the white half of Obama's Hope and Change has enslaved them once again.

The Collective Thinkers, Think Wrong!

I've been getting a bit of traffic to my website from the "great thinkers" of the left, telling me that my views are wrong and I'm stupid. How skewed their views are. Don't they realize that they are exercising one of their First Amendment rights, just as I am. Free Speech.

Our Constitution, founded on the principles of really enlightened men should be studied by every American citizen. It was written by men who believed in individual rights and not in the collective mentality that exists in the Left and Far Left in this country, at this time. The left has elite, pompous, high-sounding people who believe they and only they have the answers for society and all it's ills.

That is their problem. Belief that society is more important than the individual. That is how the arguments for and against the health care proposals are being postulated. The rights of the individual verses the collective. The supporters of the current health care legislation want a universal system, that covers everyone, just a little. They believe it is better to get limited, universal health care than to stay with a system that looks at a patient as an individual with needs for care that are unique to each human being.

America, is at it's core, is a generous Nation. It provides more opportunity and freedom to it's citizens than anywhere else in the world. Why do you think all those "Illegals" come here? American society has it's faults just like any living entity. Creating a group of citizens who believe they are entitled to be supported, without any effort on their part, is part of what's wrong with this health care debate.

I believe, basic health care should be afforded to every legal citizen but I don't believe the Government is the necessary purveyor of those services. The private sector can always provide services cheaper through competition. But Governments, Local, State and Federal always enact laws that are contrary to the free markets, limiting services with undue regulation and driving up prices for care.

The Private Sector has it's abuses for providing health care too. Where the laws need to be changed would be to require insurance companies to drop pre-existing condition clauses from their policies. Make coverage portable so that laid off workers could receive medical benefits along with their Unemployment. Local Governments could provide temporary coverage until other employment is found. Requiring every person in the country to be invested in their coverage so that health care doesn't become an entitlement.

Most of us, polls show as high as 80% of us, like our current health care, whether we receive it through private policies, medicare, medicaid, or co-ops. The debatable, 45% figure, the current Administration is using to drive its argument is a false number. No matter who runs health care, coverage should only be for legal U.S. citizens and people who pay a portion of their income for their coverage. If it's not broke don't destroy it.

Torte reform has to be included in any serious debate about health care costs. Doctors have to run extra medical tests rather than using their own expertise, to diagnose, to protect themselves from excessive abuse of class action law suits and mal-practice suits brought at the drop of a hat because of the mistaken belief that doctors can fix any medical problem. Insurance premiums for mal-practice needs to be brought down. They must be kept reasonable because we loose good Doctors every day because they can't afford their mal-practice premiums.

Costs can be brought down by competition in the private sector rather than the government limiting care, which is rationing. There are provisions in the bills now circulating in Congress and the Senate that require Government Boards to decide what kind of care you can receive, they aren't called "Death Panels" but their effect is the same.

Anytime a society places a value on an individual to limit what care or procedure they will be able to receive then that society is evil. Current provisions being proposed would prevent individuals from seeking additional care if the Government deemed their care unnecessary.

There are all kinds of imaginative programs and ideas for providing health care floating around this debate and that's the way it should be, a debate! Not just one side, the "I WON" side, shoving it's "progressive" ideas down the throats of the American people.

Run pilot programs on a small scale to determine which programs will work and which won't. The Government could provide a catastrophic insurance policy to provide for devastating illnesses much like flood insurance to help bring down the cost of private insurance. The needs of the people of one state are different than the needs of another state. Again, I say, "One size does not fit all".

I pray that sanity will erupt in the governing bodies of this free nation. Freedom and individual rights should be the driving force behind the policies that govern a free nation. We should aspire to the best possible care for our citizens and not a policy that "levels the playing field" and lowers our standards of health care and innovation in medical technology.

The current proposals in Congress and the Senate have little to do with health care and everything to do with control. People inside this government want to control every facet of our lives and they will use any means to do it. Stop this Health Care Legislation Now! Stop it before some government bureaucrat decides you are no longer a useful member of society. God should decide your fate, not the Government.

President Obama said today that there is no "Death Panel" in any legislation being considered by Congress and the Senate. His statement is true....except, of course, for Section 1233 in one of the of the bills circulating in the House of Representatives.

This is the provision that mandates "end of life counseling sessions" for anyone over 65, every five years. The counseling would encourage patients needing medical care to have a "Living Will" and "think about" Hospice care as an alternative to life saving treatments. The sessions would be held with a Government paid Physician and a Government Board counseling the patient. There would be "bonus" money paid to the Physician if the patient accepts the Hospice and the pill.

This isn't exactly a Death Panel but it's pretty damn close and there is a bigger issue at stake. The Government can change the rules in the middle of the game by requiring that certain patients must have yearly counseling. More Pressure to give into the Government's wishes. More bonuses for the Doctors. Given what I know of human nature, the patient would opt to die rather than have to spend their last few years on this planet arguing with the Federal Government.

Why does this concern me. Other than Glenn Beck's show have you ever heard of Germany's ActionT4 Project? It was Germany's answer to the health care problem that existed in Germany in the 1930's. It was a euthanasia program that started in 1939 and went on halfway through 1941. 70,273 people were exterminated by physicians acting on Hitler's secret memo of September 1, 1939 and they weren't Jews.

The Euthanasia Decree, written by Adolf Hitler in September 1939, reads as follows:

Reich Leader Bouhler and Dr. Brandt are charged with the responsibility for expanding the authority of physicians, to be designated by name, to the end that patients considered incurable according to the best available human judgment [menschlichem Ermessen] of their state of health, can be granted a mercy death [Gnadentod].

This happened because Germany had such a profound financial crisis that rationing health care and natural resources became acceptable by it's people. They [the German Government] had printed money to sustain their currency all through the 1930's because of the Stock Market crash of 1929. Printing money, buying their own debt, devaluing their money led to a society that devalued not just money, but their people. Does this sound familiar?

The danger for us today is that circumstances that created Hitler's Germany in the 1930's exists today in America. We are spending money at an alarming rate and now the Secretary of the Treasury, Timothy Giethner, is asking Congress to raise the debt ceiling to frightening heights. We are printing money we don't have to pay debt's we didn't have the money to pay for in the first place. This isn't going to end well.

The "innocent" language being written into the health care legislation pending in the House is dangerous. When you give any well meaning Government the power over the life or death of it's people you are setting up a blue print for disaster. Does President Obama want to kill me or my fellow Seniors? No.

So why do I believe that Government controlled health care is dangerous for America. One person, the President, can't make that giant leap to rationing health care....but a group of people with radical ideas about population control and rationing resources can influence policy in a political environment such as we have now in America.

President Obama and his health advisers, individually, are not necessarily evil people. But when you combine ideas of well meaning men and women, that are far outside the normal thought of ordinary Americans, you are creating a scenario for great social danger.

Rahm Emanuel's brother, Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel is on the "Health Care Panel". To say he holds extreme views is an understatement. He has written on such issues as: Assisted Suicide. The promise of a good death, Death with Dignity, Dogma Disputed:

For many people, death in modern advanced societies is inherently undignified. Terminally ill patients are connected to tubes and machines; they experience pain, shortness of breath, and other excruciating symptoms; they are unable to get out of bed, feed themselves, and even go to the bathroom alone; they are cared for in impersonal institutions. In such circumstances, there is no way to maintain dignity in the dying process.1–3 This loss of dignity is a major concern of dying patients and constitutes one of the main motivations behind efforts to improve palliative care and promote the goal of “a good death”.

These are pretty radical ideas. He also believes in a theory called the "Complete Lives System". It advocates for the culling of society by social worth. The chart below gives you a general ideal of the value placed on individuals in Obama's brave new world.

The term “group polarization” refers to something very simple: After deliberating with one another, people are likely to move toward a more extreme point in the direction to which they were previously inclined, as indicated by the median of their pre-deliberation judgements. With respect to the Internet, the implication is that groups of people, especially if they are like-minded, will end up thinking the same thing that they thought before — but in more extreme form.

John Holdren is an Al Gore doomsday environmentalist. He supports limits on energy usage and health care. These are the people that surround Obama. None of them are evil people but they all are people with radical ideas. Together they are far more dangerous than they are individually.

Truman Capote wrote "In Cold Blood" about two men who went on a killing spree in Kansas in the late 1950's. He states that each man, individually probably wouldn't have killed anyone but when the were brought together they formed the complete murderer.

This is the problem with Obama, his Advisers and Czars. They are all ideologically bent in the same direction on the environment, energy and health care. Each one may not be a Socialist in the true sense of the word but together they form a dangerous mindset much like existed in Germany during the early 1930's. They are proposing programs that will take freedom of movement, free speech, and freedom to choose our own health care out of the hands of the people and into the huge bureaucracy that they are creating.

A pet dog may be docile and loving by itself but when put in a group of dogs that are allowed to run free they revert to the pack mentality. Barak Obama and his henchmen have been unleashed by the last election and they are a pack of dogs waiting to devour every bit of freedom the Americans people have. We live in very dangerous times and history does repeat itself.

We are being bankrupted by the policies of this Administration. When there is no money for even essentials there will be a cry for the Government to do somethings. And the Government will, but it will lead us to a totalitarian Society. We must stand up to these people before we find our toddlers and Senior Citizens being led to the Death Panels. Sounds like fiction. Unfortunately, it has happened before and it could be happening again.

A friend of mine (YvonneCB@comcast.net) sent me this post. I have researched some of it before but simply haven't had time to do more. Everything I've found out about this health care(?) bill is truly evil. Most of the things in this e-mail are based on fact. Please use every method of communication you can, send an e-mail, write a snail mail, fax and phone your Senators and Representatives and as many of the power brokers in the House and Senate to stop this monstrosity. This is real. This is dangerous. This is Nazi Germany!

I am including Phone Numbers for Pelosi and Reid and the Kansas and Missouri Delegations at the end of this article so there's no excuse for you not to call your Representative or Senator!

The Democrats can pass this without the Republicans. The Democrats have WRITTEN all this legislation.

There are some Democrats (more rational or cowardly in fear of losing their 2010 re-election) who are not sure they want to go forward with this legislation.

And, there may be some wayward Republicans who will go along to get along....or be as power hungry and socialist as these majority of Democrats dictating this atrocity.....

SO.....we ALL NEED TO CALL ALL OUR LEGISLATORS......if you believe this isn't what you had thought Hope and Change would be....... and don't want this for our country....and for our lives.

Each of us is important to state our views to the people who are supposed to be representing us!

The House and Senate will be going on recess from Washington D.C. in August and should be in their local districts and states. They need to hear from you BEFORE THEY RETURN TO WASHINGTON TO DO DAMAGE!

so the Administration found it necessary to strike back...

At first glance, Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack's defense of Government expenditures listed on the Drudge Report yesterday morning seem reasonable but....yes there is a but. The sums of money being spent on foodstuffs for the Stimulus is mind boggling. If this is a stimulus plan then why did the Federal Government have to include so much "Pork" for food banks and shelters in this particular bidding. Secretary Vilsack responded with a statement:

"Press reports suggesting that the Recovery Act spent $1.191 million to buy '2 pounds of ham' are wrong," Vilsack retorted. His explaination was the "2 pound frozen ham sliced" was the packaging size and that the USDA in fact purchased 760,000 pounds of ham for $1.191 million which translates to approximately $1.56 a pound. The food is being distributed to food banks, soup kitchens and other local organizations that assist the needy, via the state-run Emergency Food Assistance Program.

"This program will help reduce hunger of those hardest hit by the current economic recession," Vilsack said.

He added, "While the principal purpose of these expenditures is to provide food to those hardest hit by these tough times, the purchases also provide a modest economic benefit of benefiting Americans working at food retailers, manufacturers and transportation companies as well as the farmers and ranchers who produce our food supply."

The reasonableness starts to falter when you examine all of the information provided at Recovery.com For instance,

Add up these two items and you get $3,722,800 from the Stimulus which goes to California District 34, the district served by Rep. Lucille Roybal-Allard, first Mexican-American elected to House of Representatives. It benefits Clougherty Packing, LLC, It is a Union Shop in Los Angeles CA and is owned by Hormel Foods. It employees a large Hispanic workforce. Hormel also supports Hispanic Farms throughout Southern California and Arizona.

RECOVERY.GOV // AWARDED: $1,562,568 FOR 'MOZZAREL LA CHEESE'
Rep Marcia Fudge (D) who replaced the late Stephanie Tubbs Jones in Ohio's District 11, considered the most Democratic District in Ohio, secured $1,562,568 for Miceli Dairy Products Company to provide Mozzarella Cheese to the Stimulus Program.

The population of District 11 breaks down to approximately 49% White, 49% Black, with only 2% Hispanic. The demographic becomes clearer when as look at Ohio's Hispanic population.

There seems to be a pattern developing that would suggest that at least in these two districts there is a heavy Hispanic population in or near the district from which to draw workers.

Joe Klien (R) Minnesota, District 2, brought home $5,708,260 in Process Cheese from Bongards' Creameries and can draw upon heavy Hispanic populations.

RECOVERY.GOV // AWARDE D: $16,784,272 FOR 'CANNED PORK'
In perhaps the most well named item in the Recovery.com report was for "Canned Pork". Rep.Thomas Evert Petri (R), Wisconsin, District 6, really brought home the bacon to the tune of $16,784,272 to Lakeside Foods Inc. The District is in the most Hispanic part of the state.

REC OVERY.GOV // AWARDED: $351,807 FOR 'REPLACE AND UPGRADE THE DUMBWAITER'
Dept. of Veterans Affairs receives $351,807 in Rep. Nita Lowery's (D) District 18, Brooklyn, New York for a new dumb-waiter upgrade. In 2000 District 18 had a 16% Hispanic population. The population of New York City is approximately 8.1 Million.

RECOVERY.GOV // AWARDED: $1,444,100 FOR 'REPAIR DOOR BLDG 5112'
Texas of course has a 25% Hispanic population. One in every four possible votes is Hispanic. Rep. Charles A. "Charlie" Gonzalez (R) secured 1,444,100 to repair a door in Bldg. 5112 at Dyess AFB in Texas, District 19. That must be some door.

I don't know if this really means anything; it may all be a huge coincidence but in an era when demographics are king in politics and Hispanics are a key voter block in the 2010 Congressional elections and the 2012 Presidential race I see a disturbing pattern developing. I first thought I was going to find mostly Democratic Districts getting the money but Rep.Thomas Evert Petri from Wisconsin, District 6, has an (R) after his name. I think the bigger picture that is developing is the Administration is actively going after the support of Hispanic populations, nationwide, for future elections by literally buying votes with Stimulus money.

In every passed or proposed piece of legislation there are huge sums of money allocated for unemployment insurance, food stuffs for shelters and food pantries. There seems to be a distinct desire on the part of this administration to destroy as many jobs as possible so were going to need those benefits. I guess we are going to need that unemployment unless of course we are Retired. The Government has a plan for us too that has already been funded. It is for counselors for us to get used to the idea of "Death with Dignity". Guess we Seniors won't need any unemployment or commodities. Yep! The Government has a plan. Unfortunately, we Seniors won't benefit unless we are illegal Hispanic immigrants.

Web of Lies Entangles American Lives...but there is hope...

I sincerely hope that all the people who gave us this President last November are happy with the Hope and Change they are getting. There is not even a scant, square inch of American life that hasn't been changed or is going to be changed in some negative way, and unfortunately, it is going to get worse.

The web grows larger and more complex every day. The reams of paper in the form of legislation flowing into the House and Senate are so complex that there is no one there to explain to the American people what is happening to them. No one would want to. The laws being passed without even a sideways glance by the very people we sent to Washington D.C. to protect us haven't been read by them. They have been dropped on the desks of the leadership who demand they be passed or the bogeyman will get us.

Lobbyist, business interest, Unions and God knows who else have written parts of all the legislation passed or being considered since the TARP bill. Anyone who believes that any member of the current Democratic side of Congress could have written these bills is working with the same lone braincell that these members of Congress possess.

One year ago we were in the midst of a contrived energy crisis with gasoline hovering at $4.50+ per gallon. The futures traders, in George Soro's stealthy attack on American free markets, were in full swing. Experts told us that the markets weren't being manipulated even as these trading cannibals drove the price of a barrel of oil up to $146 dollars. They said it was a supply and demand problem. They lied. There wasn't and isn't an oil shortage. Oil has been as low as $36.00 dollars a barrel since the high of last year and supply is at it's highest levels in recent memory. The myth of Peak Oil is being shown for what it is: manipulation and outright lies.

Where is the truth in all of this mess. The truth is that people who are vastly wealthy and think they are above the law, above the American people and above America were and still are pursuing an agenda to bring about radical change in America. It started with the election of the most far left President in American history. It was done, willfully, to enact programs, only now coming to light, that will enslave every American man, woman and child, no matter what color they are, in insurmountable debt.

The financial markets have being manipulated as well. The Goldman Sacs debacle was coming to a head, last year, like a huge, rancid boil, befouling every other related financial market. The markets were bathing in an orgy of insider trading as huge profits were taken out of the every institution selling credit default swaps and in general any financial derivative. Hedge funds that had shadowy business structures were making billions of dollars.

The Federal Government, in the fall of 2008, was "rescuing" Fannie and Freddie with an unusual tactic developed by none other than the head of the Federal Reserve at that time, our current Treasury secretary, Timothy Giethner. We saw the the Federal Treasury being drained of taxpayer money to prop up failing financial giants AIG, Lehmen Brothers and Bear Sterns.

Why was the Federal Reserve allowed to buy AIG. It wasn't a true financial company, it was an insurance company. How was the Fed able to do this? Was this even allowed under the Federal Reserve Act?

How did GE become a financial instrument that was rescued with TARP funds? A loop hole gave the world-wide manufacturing giant 340 billion dollars of taxpayer money and Jeffery Immelt, GE's, CEO now sits on the President's Economic Council. Questions remain even in a climate that find AIG now making fantastic profits and once again giving bonuses to their employees.

This was the company that was in such bad shape that if it failed, it would take down the United States of America with it. The problems of cash flow in our economy still exist. Credit is non-existent. The money is flowing into the pockets of AIG executives but not into small businesses to create jobs and not to the American people.

The auto industry was under attack. General Motors and Chrysler were reeling from massive losses due to bad management, Union intimidation and thievery, Government interference and declining sales due to high energy prices. The pieces of the puzzle were beginning to fall into place for the eventual hijacking of these companies by the Federal Government and it's eventual takeover of the auto sector.

Obama was already choosing who would win and who would fail. This goes beyond social engineering, he had started to remake America. The Unions are gaining power, they did, after all, help him get elected and probably not in entirely legal ways.

All of this re-engineering was done both before he was elected and since he was inaugurated. It continues today. The energy sector bill that passed House of Representatives and the health care debate taking place now are all cogs on the same wheel. Obama is governing by bullying, intimidation, cronyism and threats. He won so we should all bow down to his perverse policies. He wants to control every aspect of life in America. The two charts below show the complexity of passed Cap and Trade House legislation and the proposed health care plans.

These charts are a vision of subterfuge that would take an Einstein to untangle. Who wrote them. It certainly isn't Prima Donna Congressmen and Se nators who only want more face time on television so their voters back home will think they are actually doing something.

Obama's unelected Czars are going to control vast sums of money and will have decisions making powers on spending and regulations that will affect how every American lives their lives. The Budget for most agencies will be approved by the Czars and not by the vetted Cabinet Secretaries like, Kathleen Sibelius, "head" of HHS. Congress is being side-stepped and whatever balance of power in government existed before Obama was elected is gone. Obama thinks he is more powerful than the Congress, the Courts the American people.

He is stripping the power away from all cabinet positions and the authority of Congress and taking control to the White House and his little cabal of thugs like Rahm Emanuel and David Axelrod. These men and women are accountable only to the President and they are creating a bureaucracy within a bureaucracy within a bureaucracy. More layers of the very Government red tape that has driven up the cost of everything, energy, health care, transportation and business.

The Constitution is becoming irrelevant. Obama will use regulatory agencies such as the EPA to institute any provisions he can't get passed through Congress in the Cap and Trade bill. Local building codes, property rights the very fabric of our society is being pushed aside by EPA regulation such as something as mundane as light bulbs.

Next year incandescent bulbs will be illegal. We'll all have to replace our inexpensive bulbs with the much more costly and dangerous mercury filled compact fluorescents or very expensive LED arrays. That bill, the Energy Independence and Security Act, was passed by the newly elected Democratic Senate and House of Representatives in 2007, so Obama's philosophies were definitely being imbued in Congress the year he announced his run for the Presidency.

The bills that have been proposed or passed since Obama was elected have been complex vehicles of legislation meant to supplement easier implementation of proposals not yet signed in to law. The Stimulus, the first bill Congress passed under Obama's was over 1,100 pages supposedly written in only a few days by the House of Representatives. That is a fairy tail.

This monstrosity was passed as an emergency measure, Pass it NOW bill, that was to get the economy going again with "shovel ready projects" being inserted by members of the House. The truth was it was a Democratic Party partisan bill with paybacks to cronies of Obama and Democratic Congressmen and Senators. They are buying votes and support for the very causes, that if enacted, will destroy America.

The only glimmer of hope on the American scene today are the Tea Party Protesters. We are beginning to have an impact on the process. Most Republicans and some of the so called Blue Dog Democrats from the South and Mid-west are balking at the outrageous spending being pushed on the American people. Even though Cap and Trade was cramed through the House, the Senate has been less receptive to the massive spending, higher energy prices and job killing tax increases contained in the bill.

The phone lines are literally melting at Congressional offices and at the Capital as hundreds of thousands of Tea Party Patriots call their Representatives (?) offices and say one word to all this out of control spending; NO!

That is the most important thing we can do. Just say NO! Next year the American People can do something really important. They can elect new Congressmen, Senators, Governors, Mayors and Councilpeople who reflect the principles of the Founding Fathers. Remaking our Constitution is not what the American people want. We want what the Constitution stands for to be appreciated and followed by our elected officials. EVERY member of Congress who doesn't embrace what the Constitution says should be removed from office. The document isn't to be interpreted by the times we live in. It means what it says!

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense,promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

We must not let selfish men take power for themselves that rightly belongs to the American People. The Declaration of Independence declares it best...

The invitation was printed on orange paper with black ink and it looked more like a Halloween invitation than a Block Party invitation. It was on the evening before the 4th of July. We didn't know if the party would happen because it looked like it was going to storm. The invitation promised free food, music, and contests for the whole family and so my Husband, his Sister, our friend Steve and I went so we could get to know our neighbors and hopefully keep dry.

We almost went to the wrong house.

There was a huge crowd in a yard as we rounded the corner. Cars were parked for half a block and in the side yard of a home. Several grills, maybe five, were belching scented smoke as we walked toward the group. Kids were bouncing in an inflated jumping castle. There was a mass of about 50 or 60 people all crowded around portable picnic tables spread out on their driveway and on their lawn. People were filling plates and talking and laughing.

A singer with a microphone and a Karaoke machine was singing a participation song to a group of small children jumping up or sitting down to phrases sung by the DJ. Everyone looked like they were having fun.We couldn't understand a thing they were saying or singing because it was all in Spanish and none of us spoke Spanish.

As we approached the front of the house I saw a familiar face on the other side of the street. It was one of the people attending the party we were invited to. There, in the front yard across the way, were maybe a dozen kids and young adults and one grill. That was our block party and we were the senior citizen portion of it.

We made our way up the street and across the lawn to my Avon Lady's house. She was our hostess and her name is Lauren. She doesn't sell Avon anymore, but on several occasions I have seen a small sign in her driveway for Bible study. This was the right Block Party. Soon after we arrived maybe two dozen more people drifted in. Some we already knew and some we had never met, We made our way around the group introducing ourselves and greeting people as they arrived.

A familiar silver gray Van pulled into the driveway and out came Marc, one of our nearby neighbors and one of my favorite people. He has played in various bands over the years, one in particular, the Karma Kings, a classic rock and roll band. I designed the logo for that band many years ago and it remains, to this day, as one of the most fun projects I've ever done as a graphic artist. Marc is an artist too, a singer/song writer, and a very well rounded guy. He is a naturalized citizen who immigrated form Belgium, legally, to America about 20 years ago. He speaks four languages, including Spanish, so he would have understood what was going on at the other party.

He started unpacking amplifiers and guitars and cables and cords so he could set up the Music portion of the party. He stopped briefly to introduce me to his new lady friend Pam and another gentleman then he said needed extension cords so my Husband, Joe ,went back to our house to get some. Too bad it was power strips Marc needed. He had to go back to his own house and get them. It was risky to set up his equipment because it was threatening rain all evening but he and Shawn, our host, set up their equipment and they started to play.

There was a cross section of America in that yard. White people, back people and brown people, each coming from their own heritage and each interacting with one another as a family of God's children. Young and old and in between. It was truly an enjoyable evening. Kids skateboarded on the drive way and played catch under the large trees. The evening was warm but not too warm. People were having a terrific time. We ate hot dogs and hamburgers with chips and drank koolaid and soda pop.

The music was enjoyable, the food was good and the company was excellent. I had an encounter with a lightening bug and a young man as the bug did acrobats on the boy's hands as he tried to make the little insect light up. He then released the little creature and we watched it fly away. It was truly one of God's little miracles, not just seeing the bug light up but making a new friend too.

As darkness fell on the evening a huge clap of thunder interrupted the music. Shawn and Marc stopped playing. Shawn came to the microphone said a prayer that God would hold the rain back until the party was over. Then he put on some funky music and started to dance. Popping I believe it's called. He's a very good dancer and everyone enjoyed his performance.

Then he went to the microphone and gave his testimony of Salvation. After he finished one person at a time came to the microphone to give their personal testimony of being saved by Jesus Christ. It was a beautiful ending to a uniquely American evening. It was inspiring to hear the stories of people who had found peace in God's plan for their lives. It changed them. It saved them.

It was unexpected. It was inspiring. It was a truly beautiful moment. It was a reminder of one of the most basic freedoms contained in our Constitution. The freedom of religion. The freedom to worship even in small, unexpected ways.

The testimony ended with an invitation to get to know Jesus Christ and God's plan for our lives. One young man took up that challenge. He gave his life to Christ. This is America at it's best. Not every one will approve of that statement or the action taking place at this block party but that's the beauty of America.

We can believe in whatever religion we want and practice that belief or not. We have a choice. This Freedom is unique in the world. It sets us apart from every other nation on earth. We must cherish that phenomenon. It could be taken from us at any moment. God Bless America.

P.S. it never rained until hours after the party. God does answer prayer.

Damn Big Lies...

President Obama is going to say he doesn't think this particular Climate bill is the right one for our country and he may veto it; on his right hand. Then he is going sign it with his left hand. This has become this President's modus operandi. You can't believe a word he says...or maybe you can. He told us during the Presidential campaign that he was going to spread the wealth. And he told a little white lie.

He said he was going to spread the wealth around to the folks and at least one of his supporters, Peggy Joseph, believed him. Remember this?

I wonder where she is today. She probably will get what she wants eventually, judging from what I understand of the bills the President has signed. She isn't a "productive" member of society. She a charter member of the welfare society. She is one of the people that Obama deems as one of the "rightful owners" that he has talked about spreading the wealth to.

Ms. Joseph should read the fine print. The wealth is being spread alright, to campaign supporters, political hacks and the Democratic side of Congress and the Senate. Congress is getting huge payoffs for their votes in favor the President's plans.

When House Democratic leaders were rounding up votes Friday for the massive climate-change bill, they paid special attention to their colleagues from Ohio who remained stubbornly undecided.
They finally secured the vote of one Ohioan, veteran Democratic Rep. Marcy Kaptur of Toledo, the old-fashioned way. They gave her what she wanted - a new federal power authority, similar to Washington state's Bonneville Power Administration, stocked with up to $3.5 billion in taxpayer money available for lending to renewable energy and economic development projects in Ohio and other Midwestern states.

Maybe something will filter down to Ms. Joseph just before the next election so Obama can buy her vote and the votes of the everyone on the rapidly expanding welfare rolls. After all they are going to have to depend on the hubris of the Federal Government for their livelihoods.

The states are broke from all the unfunded mandates being placed on them. 20 states are in serious trouble now with California leading the way. The other 30 will follow suite if any of the Cap and Trade bill is put into law.

The bill is full of giveaways to big business and the poor. The middleclass will be further depleted of funds as the "change" this Climate bill brings eats away at what little discretionary income they have left after paying additional taxes on everything energy related and that's everything! The need for this bill to pass was a lie. The EPA knows that global warming is a lie. A white lie maybe.

This must happen if Obama is to complete his plan to "remake" America. He's got to keep us broke. He has to have a crisis. Yes, he inherited a crisis but he and his Democratic cronies put the crisis in motion with targeted legislation to bring about the financial meltdown. They have, for all intents and purposes, had control of Congress and the Senate since 2006 while Barak Hussein Obama and Rahm Emanuel were U.S. Senators.

Obama's plans are so elegantly drawn that all of this can't just be a coincidence. The Democrats, with the help of some very smart, obscenely rich people, have been manipulating the financial markets to make sure Obama was elected. They have further depleted American capital by seizing the auto industry. With unemployment at or near 9% the plan is working even better than they thought it would. Free Markets are dieing.

Now with a veto proof Senate the pressure will be on every Democratic Senator to vote for the Cap and Trade bill and every other Obama initiative proposed or thought of. Al Frankin will be seated and then the end game really begins.

Signs of it are already showing up along America's southern border. The President wants National Guard
volunteers to go to the border, unarmed and unpaid, to assist in the Border Patrol's fight against the Mexican Drug Cartels. What would American's do if one of our unarmed troops was murdered by a Mexican Drug Runner? Wallah! An even more emotional crisis than the financial meltdown. Empathy, you know.

President Barack Obama could send up to 1,500 National Guard volunteers to the U.S.-Mexico border in an effort to reinforce an existing counter-drug strategy. Critics have already bashed the plan as they say the levels of violence along the border do not require of unarmed-unpaid volunteers, but of U.S. agencies involved in National Security.

Another clue to what's going on in the mind of this administration is happening in Texas NOW! According to a headline on the Drudge Report, Federal Agents Hunt for Guns, One House at a Time! Didn't Obama say he wasn't going to go after American's guns?

Of course this is an inflammatory headline but the Administration is showing it's true hand on gun control. It involves Amnesty too. It's all part of a $700 Billion dollar giveaway to the Mexican Government. The Mexicans want to enhance their fight against the Drug Cartels but also want funds to "protect immigrants". Just what we need, more illegals for ACORN to mine illegal votes from.

The need for Remaking America is a Damn Big Lie!

Really rich people are getting richer. Really big companies like GE, IBM will make trillions from Cap and Trade. Really big financial companies like A.I.G. and the Banks are making obscene profits without living up to their promise to loosen credit. Really Big Drug Cartels stand to make billions in extortion of corrupt Mexican Politicians. The American Taxpayers are being made powerless by the constant robbery of their wallets.

At some point in the future, we may find some of the very people that were made rich by this crisis are the very people who caused it. Whatever happened to ethics? Whatever happened to love of Country over love of self? Whatever happened to America?

HOT! Picnic Speakers Don't Cool Down...

I attended my first official political party picnic on Saturday, June 27th. I went to the Olathe Republican Party Picnic at the Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop. It is one thing to see a politician give a speech on TV and an entirely different thing to hear them in person and see them interact with their constituents. But first a little personal history...

I have to admit that I am a political novice. Until last November I hadn't attended a meeting of any major political party unless you count the Reform Party as a major party. The only campaign I ever worked on was for Ross Perot and you know how that turned out. Yes, I was one of those people who never did anything but yell at my TV screen to voice my displeasure with the political soup dejoure. I did write to a few politicians over the years but this last Presidential campaign changed that for me. I became a blogger and now I am a proud Right Wing Terrorist!

I have become a Tea Party Activist. I stood in the 20 degree weather last winter to protest Dennis Moore's continued defiance of his constituents desires by voting yes on the Stimulus bill. I stood in a howling snow storm in front of Claire McCaskill's office for the same reason. I braved strong winds on a chilly morning in Olathe to make my voice heard. I protested for hours at JOCO at the Tax Day Tea Party. Now I have spent four hours in 100 degree heat to see and hear my political future. I believe I am beginning to become a committed activist.

I chose the Republican Party as my political home for many reasons, not the least of which is my conservatism. Now, I am acting on the pledge my husband and I made to each other last fall, to not just sit and yell at the wind but to get involved. We've gone in the deep-end.

I am at a disadvantage as a new Republican because I come from a county that, as far as I can see, is only barely tolerated by the mainstream Republican Party. I live in Wyandotte County. There aren't many Republicans in Wyandotte County. We are out numbered at least two to one by the Democrats but there were a few of us WyCo Republicans at the picnic on Saturday.

Paul Milton Hamn, the Wyandotte County Republican Chairman was there. He sat jovially under a tree and greeted longtime friends as they wandered in and out of the shade trees next to the stage. He just as cheerfully greeted the new comers to this genre.

Daniel Gilyeat, Wyandotte County's popular local hero, was there as well as Macie Houston, another 'dot. They faced one and another in the Straw Poll for the challenge to Dennis Moore's seat in the coming elections next year, along with Olathe's Patricia Lightner. (See results of the Straw Poll at the end of this article.)

Jerry Sullivan and his wife Debbie and some of their family also attended. I saw familiar faces from the Tea Party Patriots such as Amanda Grosserode, one of the original founders of the Tea Party Movement here in the Kansas City area. I recognized many politicians I had only seen on TV. It was a very interesting and inspiring day.

I was delighted to hear a familiar voice as my husband, Joe and I made our way into the big tent in front of the stage. One of my favorite local personalities, Jack Cashill, who is a wonderful speaker, a fantastic writer, a great videographer and sometimes a talk radio host, was speaking as we sat down.

He was telling a story about the late, great, conservative, Rich Nadler, the wonderfully cherubic pit bull of local newspapers and public television fame. Rich Nadler wrote for the Kansas City Star, Mother Jones and also for many national publications.

The story went something like this. Rich always spoke, or as Jack puts it ranted, at various functions. One time the host of an event questioned if they should have someone like Nadler speak in their program, Jack told them that Rich Nadler was exactly the kind of speaker that these events needed and he was right.

Many of us remember Rich, with his "clipboard of facts", doing battle with the evil liberals on Mike Shanin's, Ruckus program, a public television show. He wrote his last article for the American Spectator. It was published on the day he died, and you can read it here.

Mr Nadler is held in high esteem in this community and he will be missed. In his honor, Jack Cashill presented the first annual Rich Nadler Freedom Fighter Award to Barbara LeClerq, Rich's widow, for her unwavering support of her husband. The entire day was dedicated to Rich, a man who made a difference for Conservatives voices in our community and around the country.

The Olathe Republican committee should be commended for their wonderful group of speakers throughout the afternoon. The Town Crier opened up the day with a reading of the Declaration of Independence. That really got the crowd fired up.

Greg Smith spoke next, to announce the signing of the Kelsey Smith Act into law. Kelsey, many of you will remember, was the young woman abducted at a Target store in Olathe about two years ago. She taken to Missouri where she was murdered. Her body was found, using cell phone pings, but only after four agonizing days of pleading with their cell phone carrier to release their data to law enforcement. It only took 45 minutes to find her body after the records were accessed.

A signed copy of the act was presented to Gregg Smith by State Representative, Rob Olsen, who sponsored the bill in the Kansas Legislature. Sprint and Verizon have voluntarily been using the practice of cooperating with law enforcement around the country,using cell phone ping data for to locate missing persons and it is already saving lives. This is truly a fitting legacy for Kelsey Smith and her family

Representative Arlen Sigfreid spoke briefly. He was still walking with a cane after his recent knee surgery but he toughed it out and came on stage. Also speaking were State Representative Lance Kinzer and Macie Houston.

One of the most rousing welcomes of the day was given when SS gt. Daniel Gilyeat came on stage. he was given a standing ovation by the crowd to thank him for his Service to his Country. If SSgt. Gilyeat can translate some of that good will into votes he could have a good chance in next year's Primarys. Dennis Moore's seat looks like it's going to be hotly contested. Daniel is still learning the ropes of political campaigning but Gilyeat is a fighter. Marines never give up.

Kris Kobach also received a rowdy welcome as well as Todd Tiahrt and Sam Brownback. They all presented solid platforms and the Kansas citizenry could be the beneficiaries if this is the outcome of next year's races for Secretary of State, the Senate and the Governors race, respectively.

Finally the moment everyone was waiting for came in the form of Darla Jaye's Keynote speech. Many of the picnickers had been wearing "Draft Darla" stickers as she participated in the straw poll for the coveted 3rd District, Dennis Moore seat. She did not disappoint her supporters. The audience cheered her rousing words and booed in the appropriate places. At the end of her well received tome the crowd gave her a standing ovation that was loud, long and rowdy. This is just a snippet of her speech.

It was getting near the end of the event and the temperature was over 100 degrees. I took one more stroll around the beautiful grounds of the Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop and through the booths I hadn't visited yet. That may have been a bad idea for me as I started to feel dizzy. Diabetics really shouldn't go out in this heat. We had to leave.

I went back to the tent to sit while Joe went to get the Explorer. I was just in time to see Amanda Grosserode announcing the demonstration at 4:00 pm at the Johnson County Court house to express our anger at the tone-deaf House of Representatives who passed the Cap and Tax bill Friday evening.

I had my Pork Barrel Pig in the truck, fully intending to go protest but alas my body had the final say with low blood sugars. Damn this disease. One thing I know for sure is that if they pass Health Care in the same manner they did Cap and Trade, I don't believe there will be a Democrat running next year, still standing, after the election and some Republicans need to be punished, too. I know every person who attended yesterday's event is dedicated to unraveling the mess Washington politics has twisted us in.

The time has come to take back our Country! Commonsense must win out! Every member of Congress should be made to live under the same laws, tax system and health care that all other Americans have to. These systems were made law by the selfish behavior of Our President , the House and Senate. There is a new organization that is working along these lines to make this possible. There is too much money being spent on political campaigns that is being funneled through hundreds of Foundations by community organizers and crooks. It's time to make it STOP! The more we hold Washington D.C. accountable the better off our children and grandchildren will be.

Let's send a strong message to all Congressmen, Congresswomen and Senators: the days of being sent to Washington D.C. and immediately starting to run for re-election, or spending the people's money as if there's no tomorrow, are over. They need to do what we sent them to Washington for and that's to do the people's business.
Serve us or serve hambugers. Sounds like a slogan to me.

Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.

Have you ever wondered, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits,
WHY do we have deficits?

Have you ever wondered, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes,
WHY do we have inflation and high taxes?

You and I don't propose a federal budget. The president does.

You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does.

You and I don't write the tax code, Congress does.

You and I don't set fiscal policy, Congress does.

You and I don't control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does.

One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one president, and nine Supreme Court justices 545 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.

I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but private, central bank.

I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a president to do one cotton-picking thing. I don't care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator's responsibility to determine how he votes..

Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con-job regardless of party.

What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the insolent gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits. The president can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it.

The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes. Who is the speaker of the House? Nancy Pelosi.

She is the leader of the majority party. She and fellow House members, not the president, can approve any budget they want. If the president vetoes it, they can pass over his veto if they agree to.

It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million can not replace 545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts -- of incompetence and irresponsibility. I can't think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people. When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.

If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair.

If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red .

If the Army & Marines are in IRAQ , it's because they want them in IRAQ..

If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it's because they want it that way.

There are no insoluble government problems.

Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power. Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like "the economy," "inflation,"
or "politics" that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do.

Those 545 people, and they alone, are responsible.

They, and they alone, have the power.

They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses.

Provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees.

We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess!

RIP United States of America...

I've been curled up on my bed in a fetal position for the past few days. Fear has gripped my heart. America is being murdered at the hands of Barak Hussein Obama.

The obituary of America is being written before our very eyes, day by day, as Obama and his Administration dismantle every vestige of American tradition, honor, and principles of right and wrong. He has bankrupted our Country's future and is now working on enslaving future generations to live in the proletariat of his flawed philosophy.

Today, even the Supreme Court has abandoned all principles of the constitution by upholding this Administration's abuse of Capitalism. The Chrysler deal stands. The President's "remaking of America" continues.

The speed at which the President is accomplishing the assassination of America is breathtaking. The Democrats are giddy with power and the Republicans in Washington are spineless and cowed by Obama's prowess. The Republicans hands are tied because of their own overreach of power under George W. Bush. It left them as the minority party in the House of Representatives in 2006.

The last election left Republicans with almost a Democratic majority in the Senate. It will be filibuster proof if Al Franken is allowed to be seated. When that happens, there is no stopping Obama. There really isn't any way to stop his massive expansion of the Federal Government at this point. He is creating, unelected, unaccountable, Government Bureaucrats with alarming power over all Americans lives. It will be hard to move back from the brink of the extinction of the American way of life.

Every Czar appointed will control huge sums of cash. Much of that money may be used only to fund the expansion of the Bureaucrats taking up office space in Washington D.C. and their salaries and benefits. D.C. is having an office space crisis. Not enough office space to house all of the new Obamanoids.

These czars will apparently have more power than cabinet officials – and report directly to Obama. “These czars will be accountable to him alone and no one knows precisely how much power each of these individuals will wield over our nation’s policies during the next four years,” said TVC Executive Director Andrea Lafferty. “They will impose Obamunism upon our nation.”

The people he is appointing are far left of the American people in their ideology. They are bringing in staff people they are in step with their views. Obama is taking extraordinary power away from the American people by creating an unelected bureaucracy.

Today, he has once again changed the language of his appointees names. Rumors in D.C. had said Obama would appoint a "Pay Czar" to monitor salaries of executives of companies that took the TARP money. As resistance has grown to the term "Czars" the Administration has announced he will appoint a Pay "Master". Change the language not the purpose.

He is taking control or attempting to take control of huge parts of the American Free Market system. He has already dismantled the Housing Industry, the Banking industry, the U.S. Auto Industry, and he wants to so the same for Energy and Health Care. It is an ambitious task and an extremely dangerous one.

The Democrats laid the ground work for the Financial Bubble since their takeover of Congress in 2006. Obama and Rahm Emanuel were both in the Senate during that time. The Republicans didn't have enough clout to stop the Democrats taking over the Budget process. The programs that burst those Bubbles were engineered by the Democrats.

President Obama's ideas are always masked in some form of high minded rhetoric. He is a very powerful orator and therein lies the danger. Most people don't pay attention to anything other than the way the words make them feel. They forget words have meaning beyond the inference of a great speaker.

How long can Americans believe a word he says. He so often says one thing and then does another. He is beginning to be perceived as a Machiavellian beguiler. He is artful in delivering a speech. In front of a teleprompter he is eloquent and cajoling almost mesmerizing.

Obama controls the Economy, the Housing Industry, The Auto Industry and will control the Health Care and Energy soon. His biggest asset in this coup is the Media. Sometimes called the Fourth Estate or the fourth branch of government, the mainstream media are attached to Obama at the hip. They love him...

Wake Up America!

I say that so often. I feel my eyes drooping now and my heart aches. I'm curling up again in the fetal position. My memories of what America was is playing inside of my head. It's so much better in my memory...my dreams. I only hope I wake up from this nightmare of what's happening to my Country. I only hope America is America when I wake up.

Tea Party Patriots, Now the Hard Work Begins...

This is a message to my Tea Party friends and all those in this fight whether they participate actively or not.

I am hearing an undercurrent, out there, that is calling for a "third party" to be established. This is an idea whose time may have come, in theory. It is a definitely an idea that needs to be explored. However, I would like to add a few words of caution, we must be extremely careful.

Let me pre-qualify my statements by telling you I am currently a registered Republican. Before last November I had been registered in the Reform Party, started to support Ross Perot, so I know a little something about third parties. My husband and I worked very hard in Mr Perot's campaign here in the Kansas City area. We were very disappointed in the way things turned out but still happy that we participated.

I know many Republicans blamed the Perot movement for George Herbert Walker Bush's defeat in the 1992 elections that gave us Bill Clinton. I believed that President Bush Sr, did himself in when he scared the beejeebies out of all of his conservative support with his elitist rhetoric of a "New World Order".

I can remember, for me, the precise moment President Bush Sr. lost my support in his campaign against Bill Clinton in 1992. This video, filmed during the National Grocers Association convention, was used during the election to portray Bush as an elitist snob. Too bad it was a big lie.

I let my anger at Bush's "elitism" cloud my opinion and it determined my vote for Perot. I was fooled and so was my Husband. I don't know, if I had found out about the lie before the election, that it would have made any difference, but the point is this, the incident probably cost George H.W. Bush reelection.

According to Snopes.com the story was false. It was manufactured by the New York Times. Imagine that. Times reporter, Andrew Rosenthal, who wasn't even at the Convention, exploited a news pool report from the National Grocers Association convention by turning it into an embellished, New York Times, front page story. The rest is history. It shows how one small incident can be used to manipulate an entire electorate to win elections.
We have to be smarter than that.

I re-registered my party preference and started attending Republican Party meetings last November because I wanted some structure in my political life. The Independent Party didn't provide that and the Reform Party is dying. I knew the Libertarian Party was an option but I though I needed a bigger foundation.

I didn't like the way the Republican Party was weaseled into nominating John McCain, the closest Republican clone to Obama, by the Left Wing media. It was Sarah Palin who converted me. I am hoping to make a difference along with all the other Conservative Bloggers in the 2010 elections as well as in the next Presidential election.

We have no National Press that isn't in the pocket of the Democratic Party so it will be left with the few media outlets like Fox News and Newsmax magazine , as well as talk radio to carry our message.

Our secret weapon will be the Bloggers! We need to hold the GOP's feet to the fire so they will nominate viable candidates, who support smaller government, less spending, a strong defense, and someone who can win. We need to defend free speech and talk radio from the insidious attacks coming from the Left in the House and Senate.

As Conservatives, Libertarians and Republicans we need to be united behind a National party next year. There simply is not enough time to go through the process of getting third party people on the various state ballots and elected. We simply don't have the resources to fight the Democrats as independents without splitting the Republican Party again and guaranteeing the Democrats a victory. That is what the Democrats are counting on. Divide and Conquer.

We have to get involved in our local Republican Parties and support good candidates. We can't let the Elites back east dictate the direction of the Republican Party any longer. We have to step up and it means we have to begin now. It is going to mean a lot of hard work or as the Dems put it "Boots on the Ground".

We are going to have to use the old Media when we can and the New Media extensively. We have to be very smart and savvy with the new ways of communication. Do we need slick logos and and snappy campaign slogans. Probably, but we can't just copy Obama. We can however use his template.

I urge each and every one of you that read my Blog to reach out to your friends and neighbors and band together, become an Activist, to save this Nation that we love. This is the season of picnics and Bar B Ques. We can use these small events to get other people involved.

The people who still support Obama need to be educated. The need to be shown what the results of Obama's policies are and what they are doing to businesses, large and small. If our Small Businesses start to fail any faster there won't be jobs for anyone. If Obama keeps demonizing Big Business and grabbing control of huge parts of the Business sector there will be even fewer jobs and no tax revenue streams to exploit. Unfortunately we are next on that tax food chain.

Not everyone is reachable. Obama supporters either have an unnatural affection for the man or are just plain misinformed. All I am saying is we need to put one issue politics away for a few seasons. If we stand together we will not fail.

Obama did not, contrary to what people believe, win the last election by a landslide in the popular vote. Out of 129.5 million votes there was only a 9.5 million vote difference. The electoral vote was the landslid. Obama spent most of his money and time in high electoral vote states and received 365 electoral votes to McCain's 173 for his efforts. He campaigned smart.

Some of those states will be hard to wrestle from Obama but, with each day, the evidence mounts that his policies are eroding his support. California's Proposition 8 vote should be noted. It was a shot across Obama's bow. We need to help conservative voices in that state keep the momentum going.

Please consider my words. Lets exchange ideas and form an unbeatable team. America is worth the work. I don't believe this situation can't be changed.

We can be the change that defeats the "Change" and brings all Americans Hope!

President Obama is going to appoint a new position in the White House, the Internet Czar, later this week to better police Cyber-crime against Government networks and seize tighter control of private networks. These are words, that express better than I ever could, the feelings and anxiety that all of us, as Americans, are experiencing since the meltdown of the American Dream. I only hope that President Obama will listen to this man, this Thomas Paine of the current era.

Alas, I don't think he will. President Obama has shown little inclination to compromise on any subject. He seems to think he, and only he, has all the answers to America's problems. He refuses to see that actions taken by the Congress and initiated or approved by the White House have been the cause of our rapid decline. He is supremely confident that his actions have saved America. Any blame that Obama should accept as his own is aimed at the Bush Administration.

The President can only say things are getting better for so long without taking responsibility for the current mess that we are in. Reckless spending has been the hallmark of this very new Administration. You can't give away trillions of dollars and plan to spend billions more without consequences. Someone is going to notice, and somebody is.

His supporters are finally starting to understand the position Obama has put us in. His personal popularity is still high but it has sllowly fallen since the election. His policies are starting to be challened by his supporters. Ina new Zogby Poll his Policies in certain areas are starting to show loss of support in amazing areas. The poll was conducted using only people who voted for Obama.

On Gun Control 50% of his supporters say they want current gun laws enforced instead of enacting new lasws. 65 % of Obama voters think that Sailors and Merchant Marines should be armed when operating off the coast of Somalia.

48% of supporters want a Free Market Economy as opposed to only 28% want the Government to continue on it's current path towar Socilism. One of the largest number of Obama voters to go against an Administration idea of allowing President Obama to sieze control of the Internet in the event of an emergency. 70% of his supporters balked at this proposal that was introduced by four Senators last week. The bill dosen't specify what constitutes an emergency. As Rahm says, "never waist a good crisis".

The poll is a fascinating read. Six months from now, when the shit really hits the fan I wonder where those numbers will be?

This greeting has always perplexed me. This is such a solemn Holiday. A remembrance of fallen heroes and family members that have passed away. It was always taken very seriously in our home when I was young and it had great meaning for our Family.

My family (years before I was born) was a three star family. That meant that three of my mother's brothers were in the service during the Second World War, Uncle Gene was a pilot in the Army Air Core, Uncle Chuck was in Patton's Army and died in France. My Uncle Pinkie was in the Navy and experienced the attack at Pearl Harbor. He was later killed in one of the Pacific battles near Guam in 1945.

Friends and family would arrive at our house early in the morning and we would all go to the various Cemeteries to visit our passed loved ones and then everyone would return to my Family's tiny four room house to visit and tell stories about our loved ones. That sounds like a somber day. But it wasn't...

My Aunts and Uncles and cousins would come back to the house and in no time flat we kids would run out to our orchard and plant flags under the old pear tree. It had really long, thick branches that spread out at odd angles, it was the oldest tree in the orchard and it was my climbing tree.

It was the first tree my Mother's parents planted when they purchased the five acres of gently sloping ground and built the small house where my family lived. I never knew my Grandparents but they were very alive to me because of all the stories my Parents, Aunts and Uncles told, not just on Memorial Day, but on every Holiday or visit.

My Grandparents had planted a medium sized Orchard and a Berry Patch at the back of our land. That's were all my cousins, friends and I played until it was time for "the feast".

My Dad and my Uncles would set out picnic tables and benches made out of concrete blocks for legs and planks for the tabletops and bench seats. Mom would break out all of her nicest tablecloths. I still remember helping her iron the tablecloths for days before any holiday. There were crisp white brocade ones, gingham ones that had red or blue and white checks. My favorite were the floral ones with cabbage roses and ivy.

My mother was a Caterer part-time for our Neighbors and Family. She did not disappoint the relatives with her picnic lunches. She would fry scrumptious chicken in her big cast iron skillets. We raised the Chicken's and my Uncle Jiggs, who was a Butcher, would dress them for us.

My Mom also made the worlds best potato salad. She would have molasses baked beans and pies and cakes of Devils Food and creamy white and whatever delights everyone else would bring. The Picnic tables were crowded with food, Relatives and good memories. We thanked God for the feast and the great abundance. This was America in the 1950's. We celebrated the day as a day of remembrance and a day of feast.

After the meal my Aunts and Uncles would take blankets down to the Pear Tree and get comfortably seated under it's protective branches around the flags. My Mother would bring down the family Bible as my Dad helped all the kids up into the Pear Tree.

We would sit straddle legged on the branches and listen as my Mother would read from the Bible. The front of the Bible had the Family history and as she read each name the others would start telling stories about them and so it went. The tapestry of my Family lives was laid out before us.

As kids those things seemed less important to us. The memories took second place to the pies and cakes, the playing and climbing. The climbing during the story time would bring quick reproach from the all the Moms who didn't want us to fall and break a leg or arm. We had a few of those over the years.

It seems odd to me today why my extended family doesn't hold to the traditions our Parents made for us. I don't remember when the gatherings stopped. I haven't heard from anyone in my family today or this weekend, except my husband and my sister-in-law, they live with me. In awhile I will pick up the phone and call some of them. Many won't be home. Many won't want to talk for long and I will be left...with my Memorial Day memories for another year.

Thank God for those memories. Thank God for my family. Thank God for our Nation and all the Heroes and Patriots that have died for her. I pray the the Lord keeps our Nation strong and safe but I feel like something is missing in America today.

I feel that God has called me for a higher purpose at this point in my life. I would never have become an activist if it were not for this President. He is a man who has different views and aspirations for this nation than I do. I pray for him everyday and I hope God lifts the cloud over his eyes so he can see the real damage he is doing to our country.

The Tea Parties and the 9-12 Project are a real asset to America. Maybe not to the people who were sent to represent us in Washington D.C. They aren't doing their jobs. They don't want to hear from us. But I bet they are getting our message. I, We will no longer accept the status quo. There is too much Government in too few hands with too many bureaucrats making too many decisions about how we live our lives.

I pray that these men and women in Washington D.C. won't trash the legacy of our War dead and our past Generations. We must not let the final chapter of America be written as an epitaph for another Memorial Day.

Stand Up! Remember what America was and is; a light in a very dark world, with liberty and justice for all.

This bill is part of, what may be, a world wide criminal enterprise (one might even say conspiracy) between people who financially supported Barak Obama during the election and who are now being financially rewarded. Part of this scheme was the necessary takeover, by this Administration, of General Motors and Chrysler. The government needs the the existing infrastructure of the automakers so they can be "quickly" retooled for green automobile production.

This is another huge tax increase on the American People in more ways than ANYONE understands even one of the Senators that wrote the bill HR2554 in the first place...

Even if you read the just the Summary of this bill, you realize it's all about electric cars, electric transmission lines, carbon credits (taxes), Grid 2.0, Smart Meters and Government control of our lives. This is a bill that must be passed to fulfill the agenda of Obama's masters, the money people, like GE's Jeffery Immelt and George Soros, who's ideas may be behind every piece of legislation the Democrats have put into law this year and for at least the last two years.

The bill will raise energy prices immediately by 6% to 20% over the next ten years and this is just the know consequences stated in black and white in the bill. The unintended consequences of this bill is not understood but it could destroy other's industries that Obama promised to "tax out of existence", the Coal Industry for one. It will hurt Farmers and drive up food prices. It will expand the Federal Governments immenient domaine rights over those of the States. It will render null, the ability of each State to determine what is best for it's people and resources.

This bill will regulate every facet of American life. This bill legislates climate theory as fact. It gives foreign entities influence over American energy use, manufacturing, daily life, monetary policy. It makes Global Warming a money making enterprise for the Al Gore's and George Soros' of this world.

This transfer of wealth from the American taxpayer is not just to benefit the poor in America but to transfer of the wealth of America to the Global Masters of a One World Government. This redistributive intent has been in Obama's plans since he was a State Senator in Illinois. This is from a Public Radio interview in Chicago in 2001. He didn't believe the time was right for Redistribution back then.

What changed his mind? As Obama's Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel, said "Never waist a good crisis". There was looming housing crisis in 2007 and 2008 brought on by policies encouraged by Obama and the Democrats since their takeover of The House and Senate in 2006. The mortgage regulations were being manipulated to make it possible for poor, under-employed people and illegal immigrants to purchase homes with Federal money from Freddie and Fanny. Loans that in most cases couldn't be paid back. This led to the financial meltdown.

The oil crisis came at the critical moment in the Presidential election last August. McCain had just pulled ahead of Obama in the Presidential polls and at that exact moment the price of a barrel of oil shot up dramatically. Unknown "Commodity Speculators" drove the price of oil up to $140 a barrel. The Housing Crisis abruptly escalated about the same time and the election's results were a Fete de Compli.

At some future date historians will write about the corruption in the Presidential election of 2008. They will report about how the spiderweb of deceit, lies and corruption helped elect a President of the United States. One who would deliver the American people into unimaginable debt with the help of a manipulated crisis and corrupt organizations such as ACORN. These events usurped the rights of every man, woman and child in America.

For now, the Powers-that-be are rushing through Congress every possible bill , to become the laws that will control every thing we do in America. They will control what we eat, where we live, what kind of car we drive. They will control what kind of energy we will be allowed to use. If you smoke you will pay a heavy tax. If you use oil or gas you will pay a heavy tax. If you drink soda pop or eat a candy bar you will be taxed. If you are overweight you will pay a higher rate for your health insurance. If you are old, the Government will decide if you are valuable enough for the State to allow you to receive life saving medical procedures. The Government will control your life and death.

This is real and it's happening to your future now!

Are you content to just sit back and let the Genocide of America happen? We must stand up now and put a stop to this Administration's plans to make us all slaves to the Federal Government. Our very way of life is at stake. We must support State's Rights and the Sovereignty movements now, to protect the rights guaranteed to us by the Constitution, before it's too late.

Fellow Patriots,
It's been a little over a month since the April 15th Tea Parties and I'm sure some of you are turning their thoughts to Springtime activities. Planting flowers and Victory Gardens and enjoying the newness of this time of year. I am too. We, however, need to keep focused on the next steps of our mission.

I hope you have become a member of a group close to you that has some relevance to you in your life as a Patriot. Groups like the 9-12 Project, Americans for Prosperity, and Fairtax are a good place to explore and discuss your issues with people who think more like you do. Government spending, corrupt Leaders, State Sovereignty or whatever issue rings you liberty bell, get involved.

Every once in awhile we need to be reminded of our rights and responsibilities as an American citizen. We want to live in a country where every man, women or child can reach their full potential without Government intrusion. We must protect our American way of life!

This is not done by sitting in your living rooms and watching others march and carry signs. This is not done by avoiding talking about issues with your friends and neighbors. This is not done by ignoring a different point of view just because the person has a D or an R after his or her name. This is not done by skipping the ballot box. If we want change, we must be the change.

Get active and involved in your communities and in issues that affect the way you want to live your life. Let your Legislators know your feelings, daily if necessary. E-mail is free and you can get your Senator's or Representative's e-mail address by clinking on the links I've provided you here.

It really boils down to to effort. Recently, I posted a report on my activist training at American Majority. Dennis Wilson as the President of the Kansas Chapter of American Majority is fond of saying "the most influential people are the ones that show up".

It an excellent slogan to live by. Sometimes we need to be reminded of our responsibilities. We can't see the problem if we wear blinders and we can't solve the problem if we don't show up.

This is just a little pep talk from an old friend, Thomas Paine. Listen to it and see if you can still ignore that little voice inside your head that says, "I am the solution if I choose to be the solution".

The Legacy of the Obama Era in American politics and American history is being written, day by day, at such a rapid pace that I'm sure we are all missing something. The changes being brought about are devastating to huge segments of American Capitalism and the future of our very country is at stake. Obama is, as he says, remaking America.

The automobile industry in particular is being remade. Smaller cars, greener cars, cars nobody wants. This may be the most disastrous act in American manufacturing history. A headline this week asks: Could Obama's Economic Advisor Want American Car Companies to Fail? (Warren Buffett) This is a connect-the-dots kind of moment because Buffett has invested heavily in the Chinese electric car market and this week General Motors announced it will import thousands of Chinese made cars. Humm Quid Pro Quo?

As of March 2009, General Motors was taken over and is still being dismantled by the United States Government. President Obama fired Rick Wagoner, the GM, CEO in a fit of revolutionary fever of his Hope and Change theme for America. He appointed a new CEO and a new Board of Directors partly made up of Union officials. Even a 13 year old, like a young man named Alex Good, could understand the ramifications of Obama's actions.

A 13 Year Old's View on Government Intervention

In case you haven't heard, President Obama and the White House has fired the General Motors CEO, Rick Wagoner. I'm not going to go into details on why this happened, I am only here to voice my opinion on whether or not this was a good choice, and how I see it.

When Obama fired Wagoner, I immediately thought of the concerns voiced during the election about Obama being a socialist, or having a few socialist beliefs or interests. As far as I know, Socialism is up there with Communism.

General Motors has been one of the most iconic companies in American history. There have been songs written about GM's most popular cars.

On August 23, 2005 General Motors Fairfax plan t created it's 10 millionth automobile. Union workers in the in the UAW Lo cal 31 Shop and the General Motors were among the top 3 assembly plants in North & South America as of July 5, 2008 according to JD Power.

"The Fairfax Plant & UAW Local 31 members have consistently produced high quality
products.  They are a fine example of how UAW employees have answered the challenge
and build award winning vehicles for the global market place," said Cal Rapson,UAW vice president.

"The J.D. Power award is one of the most coveted awards in the automotive industry,
and for our plant to receive two in 2008 only highlights the excellence of the Malibu product,
the employees who build it, our engineers who designed it and our suppliers,"
said Michael Dulaney, Fairfax plant manager. "It should also be recognized that we achieved
these results in our launch year and beat both of our major competitors -
Toyota Camry and Honda Accord."

This was the heyday of the one of the iconic industries in American history. Automobile manufacturing once the life blood of communities across the nation is now reduced to anafterthought by the Obama Administration's handling of the economy. It was not always thus.

The Fairfax plant was immense, a 3,200,000 sq ft facility, sitting on a 700,000 Acre plot of of prime real estate on the fertile bottom land in Kansas City, next to the Missouri River, on the Kansas side of the river.

The site has been the home to airports, the B-25 Mitchell war plane m an ufacturers and General Motors in it's storied past. It was the hub of the Kansas/Missouri postal servic e airport in 1925 as well as the the main airport that President Harry Truman flew into whenever he came home from Washington D.C. General Motors had built cars on the site since just after World War II.

The future is here, now, in a literary déjà vu of sorts from George Orwell's p rophetic science fiction novel 1984. Condensed here from SparkNotes study guide:

Orwell portrays a state in which government monitors and controls every aspect of human life to the extent that even having a disloyal thought is against the law. As the novel progresses, the timidly rebellious Winston Smith sets out to challenge the limits of the Party's power, only to discover that its ability to control and enslave its subjects dwarfs even his most paranoid conceptions of its reach. As the reader comes to understand through Winston's eyes, The Party uses a number of techniques to control its citizens, each of which is an important theme of its own in the novel.
Psychological Manipulation - Purpose: to overwhelm the mind's capacity for independent thought.
Physical Control - Controls the physical body.
Control of Information and History - Control information, rewrite the content of all newspapers and histories.
Technology - Telescreens and hidden microphones monitor people's every move.
Language as Mind Control - Language has architectural form that can limit concepts. If you control of language you can make it impossible to have disobedient or rebellious thoughts, because there would be no words to form thought.

This is all seems very familiar. It sound like Obama is using 1984 as a template for Society and he has stunning ideas about the economy wich see to parrot a new book, Animal Spirits: How Human Psychology Drives the Economy, and Why It Matters for Global Capitalism by George A. Akerlof and Robert J. Shiller. It reads like a blueprint for what Obama and his Administration are doing to engineer their new economy. They are tearing down the bastions of old Capitalism and replacing it with a theory.

Therein lies the problem. It is a theory and not all theories are proven. Obama's legacy may not be in remaking America but in bringing America to it knees under tyranny. His rhetoric may be high minded but his reality is frightening.

Obama: Contradiction in Truth

When President Obama promised to remake America I was automatically on my guard. America is by no means perfect but it definitely doesn't need to be remade. After his first few months in office there's not even a scant slice of American life this President hasn't remade in someway. All this change at such a rapid pace is dizzying and confusing. That's the way Obama is being successful. He and his comrades in the White House have at least one announcement a day. Sometimes more. This is by design.

Things are happening at such a fast pace that most people can't tell what is really going on. The current media love affair with this President is actually making the problem worse. The Press simply will not tell the truth. They spout Democratic talking points ad nauseam. The main stream press is acting as a buffer against any criticism of Obama. They attack anyone that questions any of Obama's actions. They have and will report or publish the truth when it fits the Obama template. They will print or report a half truth with full authority to further their cause and they will lie for this President.

During the Presidential campaign Candidate Obama made a gaffe in a speech:

"I have visited 57 States now and I still have 1 or 2 to go. My staff wouldn't let me go to Alaska Or Hawaii."

The words had barely left his lips and the media went into overdrive to explain how impossible Obama's schedule was and how tired he was. It could have been an amusing anecdote but the media had to protect their man.

He has talked like a Moderate and has preformed as something very different. Almost all of his "change" has been 180 degrees from from what he promised it would be but he's still very popular with the American people according to the polls. However, when he talks to his supporters about specific things that affect specific people negatively then he can run into some trouble.

Case in point; the Washington D.C. school system has a program called school the D.C. Opportunity Scholarship Program, a vouchers program, since 2007. Most of the families involved in the voucher program have children whose test scores have risen half a grade higher than students not in the program in rest of D.C.'s Public schools. A plea to save the voucher program published in the Washington Post began:

Better schools. Higher scores. And satisfied parents. That's the record of the D.C. Opportunity Scholarship Program. It is helping us keep our promise to leave no child behind in America. If Congress is thinking of breaking this promise, the nation deserves to know the story.

Congress was poised to cut off funding for the voucher program because Obama wanted to kill the program. It was a successful George W. Bush, No Child Left Behind program and Democrats had to wreck any successful Republican ideas. After the Parents in the District fought back, Obama (surprise, surprise) offered a compromise. The 1,700 kids (K-12), enrolled in the program, will be allowed to finish their education but the program will still end leaving thousands of Children behind because of his arbitrary dislike of anything Republican. This is becoming a perverse habit of the President. Promise one thing then deliver another.

He has a distinct habit of letting his cronies in his Administration and Congress offer ideas or programs that aren't popular. News of the programs are met with anger and frustration by the public. We should have known, when candidate Obama reve rsed his promise to take public financing if McCain did and then blindsiding McCain by pulling out of that verbal challenge, that Obama couldn't keep his word. It is a definite trend in his Presidency. The old bait and switch.

In a decision that I hadn't heard of before researching this article, "Obama Signs Law Banning Federal Embryo Research Two Days After Signing Executive Order to OK It". Now I'm thrilled about this turn of events but I bet his supporters don't like it much.

On the Sunday news show This Week with George Stephanopolis, Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, uttered the now infamous statements about contraception being a stimulus to the economy, which led to the Drudge Report News Flash: "DRUDGE FLASH 2009© Pelosi says: Birth Control Will Help Economy". http://www.drudgereport.com/flashpbc.htm

How did this particular subject come up? There weren't many details available on the actual content of the "American Recovery and Reinvestment Plan". It would have been interesting to have been a "fifth party" to to the daily conference calls* between long time friends, Rahm Emanuel, JamesCarville, Paul Begala and George Stephanopolis, before George's show on Sunday, Jan 24th. I'm sure Nancy was probably in the loop too. Her comments set off a firestorm of conservative blow back over the "family planning" issue, just as the Administration knew it would.

On Monday January 26th, President Obama rode into the fray on his white horse to save the day! He withdrew the funding request. This was probably orchestrated to change public opinion about the bailout...and the Religious Right swooned... http://www.christiannewswire.com/news/148769293.html

Where is the truth? It lies somewhere deep inside the murkiness of big time liberal politics. Keeping the public weary and confused is Obama's goal. A Meeting of the "Like" Minds

I attended the American Majority Activist Training Event on Saturday, May 9th, at the Shawnee Branch of the Johnson County Library along with my friend and neighbor, Sandy Simons. We both felt the event was enlightening, thought-provoking, fun and worth every penny of the small fee. It was defiantly a meeting of like-minded individuals.

Dennis Wilson, Board Chairman of American Majority in Kansas, greeted the large, lively group that threatened to spill out of the training room into the hall at the Shawnee branch of the Johnson County library. He spoke briefly about the mission of the organization and explained that their goal was training ordinary citizens to become more involved in their communities and public policies that affect everyone. He is a former Kansas State Senator, State Representative, Businessman, and the former Vice President of the City Union Mission.

His started his opening remarks by saying,

"the most influential people
are the ones that show up"

and it was more than a clever throw-away line at the beginning of a presentation. It was a call to action for ordinary citizens to get involved in their communities on the most basic levels such becoming a Committee Chairperson in your local political parties, running for local office or supporting someone who is running and shares your views of conservative values and free markets.

I think the thing I liked the most about the Event was the expertise and affability of the staff. Field Representatives Becka Romm and Elizabeth Patton did an excellent job of explaining and teaching the American Majority Training Program.

Becca opened with a general outline of the Program and the most impressive statement that I took away from this event. "No matter where I am in life, I can make a difference". She talked about building coalitions by starting with individuals who get involved in local political groups or charitable organization, starting small, setting goals and having a plan. Here is a list of "small steps" to creating a successful coalition.

Identify a need or issue
Grow your group
Creat a vision for a solution
Establish targets
Plan a strategy
Implement success

I was amused by Becca's use of "small steps" because anyone who has ever read my blog has seen my Small Steps Alert. It is just small news items (and sometimes big ones) that support conservative values. Small things that make a difference.

Elizabeth introduced the attendees to the use of the traditional media such as newspapers and journals as a tool to get your ideas and opinions out to other people. She explained the proper form for the Letters to the Editor and the longer Opinion Editorial. Holding our leaders accountable was also a recurring theme of the training. She introduced many at the training event to blogging and social networking.

One thing that surprised me was my introduction to Wiki-Projects and their importance. As long as I've been writing and researching on the internet I have avoided using Wiki-pedia as a source reference, believing that the entries found there were misleading at best, left-leaning in some instances and inaccurate. I was wrong.

Earl Glenn, AM's guest internet guru, introduced us to all sorts of Wiki tools such as Wiki-FOIA which is a source reference for requesting information under the Freedom of Information Act. Important and very useful sites Judge-pedia and Ballot-pedia. These are all wonderful reference sites and I'm sure I will visit them often.

There were just too many websites and social networks mentioned such as The Sam Adams Alliance, Sunshine Review, Facebook and Ning, to learn anything in depth about the ones I didn't already know. I am going to busy myself over the next few weeks and months to see what's out there. These sites and more will be explored by all of us who attended the training session.

Learning to Lead with American Majority

Obama. Connect-the-Dots... part 1

I am a connect-the-dots kinda girl. As a child I couldn't wait for Saturday and my family's trip to McCellands, one of the popular five and dime stores that lined "the Avenue". It meant that my Mom would buy me a Giant Connect-the Dots coloring book. I would sit for hours connecting the numbered dots, one by one as the picture revealed itself to my happy amazement. Those days are gone.

I'm still a connect-the-dots girl, only now I'm connecting-the-dots - the points in Barak Obama's life and his rise to the Presidency and where they may lead and it scares me silly. I make no arguments about the facts stated here. They are for the reader to connect-the-dots and form their own opinions.

Obama had abandonment issues in his early teen years, not just because of his father, who left him as a baby. His mother ,Ann Dunham-Obama-Sorento, wanted a more exciting life than just raising a son and daughter in Hawaii. Barak objected to going back to Indonesia with his mother when she left Hawaii with his half-sister, Maya, and left him with his white Grandparents.

His early friendships and activities were that of a young man with an identity crisis. One of his strongest influences as a young man in Hawaii was a Communist, a poet, and an admitted pedophile, Frank Marshall Davis. Barak's white Grandfather introduced his grandson to Davis, who was black, when he[Barak] was 10 years old. Barak grew to think of Davis as a Father figure and mentor.

Maya Soetoro-Ng, Obama's half-sister, told the Associated Press recently that her grandfather had seen Mr Davis was “a point of connection, a bridge if you will, to the larger African-American experience for my brother".

He may have been a bridge to other activities as well. As a teenager Barak tried drugs, basketball and older women. Obama admits that he smoked pot and did cocaine. He took up Basketball to better relate to other black teens and he cruised the campus of the University of Hawaii picking up "older college women" for sexual encounters.

His college records are the stuff of secondhand adulation. Little is known about his early college years. Paul Carpenter, now a Los Angeles lawyer was one of Obama's room mates at Occidental College. Carpenter recalled Obama as "a good bodysurfer" who had "a funky red car, a Fiat" and who also played intramurals — flag football, tennis and water polo. "He was an athletic guy," said Carpenter. He also thought of Barak as a very self confident guy, to the point of him believing that Barak was arrogant and an elitist

humm "Obama had a Fiat and now he is forcing Fiat on Chrysler. Is this one the the places that we can connect the dots? Just asking. One dot in this Chrysler-Fiat mess that we should really pay attention to is the biggest winner in the forced partnership between Chrysler and Fiat is the Unions (both American and European).

While Chrysler's plants are closed, workers will still receive pay and benefits. Doug Rice, president of the United Auto Workers Local 122 in Twinsburg, Ohio, said workers should be fine as long as Chrysler emerges from bankruptcy within 60 days. If the process drags on longer, experts have said consumers could lose faith in the company's products, and Chrysler could crumble.

The other dot to notice is that President Obama plan to make American Companies more Global.

President Obama, in a noon speech at the White House, had to explain why he planned to save Chrysler and its workers by forcing the company into bankruptcy. A partnership with Fiat, he said, would give Chrysler "a chance not only to survive, but to thrive in a global auto industry."

Fiat will contribute no money to the alliance. It has committed what it says are billions of dollars in technologies and designs for fuel-efficient vehicles. The biggest loosers will be Stockholders, dealerships that sell Chrysler products and the parts suppliers.

All of this is happening at a time when the Nation's Banking intrigues are getting even murkier. Another dot that helps define Obama is, Tim Geithner, his wonder boy, the only person in the world who was "smart enough" to solve the Money Sector's problems. Geithner is hatching yet another plan to save the Banks from their bad assets. This seems to be another "smoke and mirrors" plan that doesn't solve the insolvency. Once again, he is hiding the bad assets on the Bank's balance sheets while making no progress in making their bad assets worth something.

Geithner's first Bailout plan was soundly panned by Banking experts and hated by Wallstreet.

Now to get to the punch line, let us turn to the New York Times. The headline "Geithner Said to Have Prevailed on Bailout," is already bad news, since as we have discussed, Geithner is a living, breathing example of cognitive regulatory capture. But here is the troubling bit:
In the end, Mr. Geithner largely prevailed in opposing tougher conditions on financial institutions that were sought by presidential aides, including David Axelrod, a senior adviser to the president, according to administration and Congressional officials.

Mr. Geithner, who will announce the broad outlines of the plan on Tuesday, successfully fought against more severe limits on executive pay for companies receiving government aid.

He resisted those who wanted to dictate how banks would spend their rescue money. And he prevailed over top administration aides who wanted to replace bank executives and wipe out shareholders at institutions receiving aid.

Because of the internal debate, some of the most contentious issues remain unresolved.

The real dot to watch here is the U.S. Governments march to Socialism. Every step taken by the Government on the Monetary System since Obama took office has shown a propensity for Government ownership of American Banking asset's. Every Company "saved" has paid a price for getting into bed with Obama. AIG, although it shot itself in the foot with the boneheaded bonuses, has had vast portions of it's assetts being "siezed" by the Government. This does not bode well for Freedom.

There are so many dots to connect with this President that it will take several blog posts to achieve the true picture of of this very left wing President. Everything that Obama has done since being elected is leading to one conclusion. This President, contrary to what he says, is leading this Country, as rapidly as possible, to Socialism or something worse.
